You dont know that someone is not going to gambit jester early on and you sure dont know who he is (unless your scum) or what his intentions are. So why not follow all leads?

Because it's not a lead. It's a waste of time. I'm not sticking up for him, I'm telling people to leave it alone and focus on something else because it's dumb.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this post. Lynching somebody who could be town is NOT a good solution, I also don't like that "lol" you put in at the bottom, almost a way for you to backtrack later if necessary.

Unless Ben is an alt, nope. I don't think an inexperienced player would try to be that subtle as Jester. I could be wrong though. It's known to happen.

I think the mistake's made about Jester's is they don't normally make it obvious who they are. He could have slipped up and said that, but that "lol" at the end to me is the suspicious part, he could have done that so he could go back under suspicion and say "oh I was joking"

I am actually not so inexperianced as when I first signed up here at MS. So, usually there is a method behind my madness in which I don't care to explain at the present.

Prob not here or now. We all play this game different. Got to think, I came from a different bg of the game of mafia, my way of playing seems to confuse people here and make them nervous.

I don't think it's too unreasonable to put benhalkum in the jester role. I didn't think it an overly obvious gambit (if that's what it is). If anything, it probably isn't a bad move, only that it was too early. If we were 8-9 pages in, it would be different, I think.

Combine that with his earlier vote on nightfall and it is seeming much more plausible.

The other option is that he's actually scum trying to play up the jester role subtly to essentially rule out a lynch.

When I first saw the Jester role in here I admit that I didn't think we'd seen anyone try and play it this early in the game BUT distad brings up a good point of scum trying to buddy up to the role, I'll admit to not having thought of that and will definetly be something to put in the notes
