The footage they showed for the new Tomb Raider game made me so excited. I had no idea what it was - I tuned in during the broadcast and watched a woman and a black man doing unrealistic-yet-badass mountain climbing and it was basically exactly what I wanted in a video game.
Never played Tomb Raider in my life, but might pick that one up if I can.Current Avatar: Kronk. Duh.-

Hey y'all. I'm back to tell you that if LISA goes back on sale during the encore, you should all probably get it.
I feel like no one has heard of this game even though it came out six months ago, yet it is one of the most unique and interesting experiences out there right now. I played for about forty-five minutes just now and:
- fought a boss that was half hair, half three men
- rested at a campfire and got one of my party members stolen
- raced on my bicycle around a 2d platform obstacle course
- got accosted by a tricky sort who I then battled to the tune of an African tribal chant
It's soooo much fun. Since it's an RPG it is a little loosey-goosey at times, and the humor can be incredibly dark, but that makes it a wildly unpredictable experience that still feels fair. There will be no kisses tonight
There will be no holding hands tonight
'Cause what is now wasn't there before and should not be-

from what I remember it uses sub-optimal dosbox settings, make sure you check them... also, don't use the steam doom version alone, get some other loader...after a wank.-

GUYS
Hatoful Boyfriend is $1.49 for the next ~4.5 hours.
- it's a dating sim style visual novel about you being a middle school aged girl andeveryone else is a bird
- the first "half" of the game has 12-14 endings, ranging from downright hilarious to surprisingly sad, takes about 4-5 hours to get them all
- the second "half" of the game takes place once you've unlocked most or all of these endings, and puts a much more serious spin on the plot (2-3 hours)
- honestly the entire reason to buy this game is lolpigeons + the entire second half is amazing if you're entertained by the wackiness of the first few hours
- it'sa dollar fifty. that's like... $0.25 an hour or cheaper. even if you put it down after two hours becuse it's too dumb or something, you wasted getting a Whopper Jr at Burger King basically.

I watched Kaceytron play it today. Looked neat.
In post 1934, zoraster wrote:So I've been playing through KOTOR on my ipad. While the controls are slightly worse on the Ipad than the PC, it's still really easy to use. And it's such an awesome game to pick up and just play for a few minutes advancing the story. Already about 14 hours in.
I bought this awhile ago, played it on a few plane fights, and never went back to it. I should, though! I was a little frustrated that it wasn't as completionist-friendly as later Bioware games.
I bought FF3 on iOS on sale and am on-course to FINALLY finish the only FF I've never finished. It's so much less tedious after you get through Nepto Temple.Last edited by Iecerint on Mon Jun 29, 2015 7:34 pm, edited 1 time in total.-

I found KOTOR's combat system to be almost intolerably clunky, but other than that it's really solid for an older RPG.

I loved KOTOR. Didn't really care for KOTOR2 that much. SWTOR is basically a continuation of the KOTOR storyline.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I bought Pokemon Y and a 3ds today. Now I have horrible analysis paralysis about the team I should go for.One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.-

so I have firefox installed on an ssd, so when I just clicked the steam icon I heard my harddrive spin up. It amused me.
in other news, I found that this game exists: http://store.steampowered.com/app/26051 ... 1_5_9__205after a wank.-
