Mod:Seeing how SV has yet to significantly post, would it be possible to have my spot back? I didn't think I was going to be replaced for going on vacation. This game seems like it needs my postiness.
This is, of course, if SV is cool with it too.Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.

Heh, welcome back NabNab.
Deadscilent, why the sudden suicidal urges? It's bad sportsmanship regardless of your role.
On the issue of the deadscilent wagon, I'm not entirely happy with it. I'll just take a look at some of these latest votes:
Adel votes Deadscilent in post 340, claims that his giving up post is the only reason. Adel, why do you think such giving up would be more likely to come from scum than town? I've seen both scum and town just give up, but in my experience a newbie who says, basically, "Haha when I turn up town you'll know I was right and i'll be laughing at you" is more likely to be a stupid townie than scum.
Haut Boy voted in post 345, no reason given for hopping onto the biggest bandwagon in the game. Mind explaining this one?
Kravhen has also voted Deadscilent, and to him I ask similar questions to those I asked Adel. Do you think giving up is more likely to come from scum or town? And why?
Modcan we get a votecount please?Primpod 11:13 pm

I guarentee you I am on the townies side.
I fogot about my vote for crash text when I made the vote for zebra, so I changed it back, because I dont think I've heard enough from haut, but as it stands, Im keeping my vote for him.
Hey... umm...
Is it common practice to have jesters in a mini normal?

Patrick: ds's post seemed scummy to me because it was "cute" and she is a girl. Girls often try to use "cuteness" to obfuscate scumminess. In RL "acting cute" is one hell of a tell, and I am assuming that the same hold true for games played in forums. I haven't played enough games with other girls to really know one way or the other, but I think it is awfully likely to be true for ds.-

@patrick: when I first read her post real quick, i actually bought it. I know myself to have certain periods of being highly gullible, but when i re-read it, I told myself i could NOT just fall for something like that easily. Then i reread most of her posts and they haven't been helping town much. Even after my vote she keeps repeating she isn't town. To be honest, I think it's as likely for that kind of behavior to come from either VI ( village idiot ) than scum. I've seen scum do it before. Right now I'm satisfied with my vote there.
@deadscilent: once AGAIN, guaranteeing you're town means nothing, please stop right now. If you're scum, youre gonna get lynched. If you're town, you're gonna put us in trouble. And don't say "I'll be laughing when you see im right" because we're not going to pity ourselves, we'd be more likely to be frustrated by your very bad play, and think you should be ashamed of it. EVERYONE can just guarantee they're town, what would happen to the game then if everyone believed it? Use your brains here. Put yourself in our position. If a cop intercepts a drug dealer's car on the road because it smelled weed (scummy), would the cop let the drug dealer go if he said "I guarantee you there's no crack in my trunk, ill laugh at u if you open it and see im right and you mis-acused me!" You are the drug dealer, we're all cops. If you dont wanna get pulled over, make sure your car isn't smelly/scummy.-

Unofficially, I think DS has 4 votes right now (though Pickem's seems apt to return). In my opinion, this is not a good wagon. From reading the thread and limited experience with DS in another game ( all expeirence with DS is limited) I'm going to brand her the VI of this game.
Adel, Pickem, you already know what this means, but I'll spell it out for the rest of the town:
It is rarely in the best interests of the town to lynch a Villiage Idiot. By conventional measures, they are very scummy, but you have to realize that they are barely playing the same game as us. It is my belief that almost all tells dropped by VI's are useless, the only reason I would lynch a VI is because of a scummy voting record.
FTR, DS's record:
1:(Random) Eroto
2:(Invalid) CTD
3: BZ
4:(Quickchange)HB
The only parts of that record that are possibly scummy are the last two. She could have very easily been fishing around for the most likely wagon (in her clouded opinion).
Essentially, a VI is a gamble with 3:1 odds on lynching a townie. IMO, those aren't good odds, and it takes a lot to convice me to lynch a player I feel is a VI. I think it would be better for the town to move on.
I don't really feel there was much to comment on in my absence. The debate on DS between Pickem and Krav was kind of ridiculous, but I don't know as if either took a particuarlly scummy position (except the fact that Krav was hypocritically trying to focus the spotlight right after slamming Adel for doing so).
My biggest suspicion right now is probably on Blue Zebra. I think I've gotten a feel of his short/sweet playstyle, but I don't like what's coming out of it. Lots of votes in the beginning (the explanation for the Camisade vote is utter crap BTW), but now he just seems to be pushing wagons rather than joining them (Sir T and DS's respectively).
Vote: Blue Zebrafor pressure and thread-energization more than anything else. I hope some of the more intelligent players on the DS wagon will follow me.Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.

That's why I like to have the opinion from others as much as possible, so I'm able to take another look at things from difference perspectives and make sure im not narrowminded in my opinions. I get a feeling you might be right, Nab. Unless you're scum with DS and this is all part of your plan. I think that's unlikely though. =P

I voted for deadscilent in hopes of pressuring her to answer my question. I've gotten somewhat of an answer now, so I don't need my vote there anymore.Patrick wrote:Haut Boy voted in post 345, no reason given for hopping onto the biggest bandwagon in the game.
