I strongly
dislike
the use of FOS when it would be safe to vote, since it strikes me as showing a lack of courage in your convictions. But I'd agree on the whole 'FOSing town is not scummy' angle. FOSing scum whilst voting town is a common scumtell. I don't thing it works in reverse.

I've always thought FOS'ing someone is something you do when you think they're suspisous, but not enough to vote.... That looks a little bit like craplogic...

acfan , I find it suspicious that by page 5 you don't have any thoughts on anyone in particular. By this point you should be able to take a stance on at least one person.

This is actually somewhat consistent with ac1983fan's previous statements. Your main criticism of the lynch was that it was too fast. Also, I think the fact that you are the only living player NOT involved in xerebz's lynch is also telling.

The Mafia's main weapon in this game is the mislynch. It's likely that both Mafia were involved in the mislynch on Day 1. That's why I don't see ac1983fan as Mafia, but I have a strong suspicion that he is the serial killer.

Speaking of twilight, JordanA24 was very adamant about xerebz being scum, a fact that no one has brought up. Why was he so sure that xerebz was scum?

I also don't like SirWario's behavior. I'm looking at Post 109, especially. He is not adding anything new to the argument, but merely following other people's arguments. I don't think he's built a case against anyone from scratch. He just seems to repeat what other people are saying.

Then there is AlSleet, trying to say that his vote was random but he didn't feel the need to unvote since he didn't think someone would hammer. This has already been brought up. The Fonz put xerebz at Lynch -1 and I dropped the hammer.

I bring up these behaviors for a couple reasons. First of all, the points against JordanA24 and SirWario have not really been raised, and I wanted to bring them up.

But, I also want to point out that ac1983fan is pretty friggin' blind if he thinks that no one has done anything scummy yet. I don't like the "bad player" defense either. What ac1983fan is trying to do is deliberately fly under the radar and not call attention to himself. He hopes that if he doesn't point too many fingers and stays quiet, people will forget about him. I haven't played too many games with a SK, but I imagine this is a pretty good tactic for the SK to use.

Whenever I'm pretty sure someone is scum (zerebz did look very scummy, why else do you think he was lynched as quickly as he was?), I usually look very confident about it. It's not the first time I've been called scummy because of this sort of thing.

Hallo.

Rishi seems fairly town.

Something seems different about The Fonz; I can't figure out exactly what it is at the moment.

I've seen acfan do this before. He was scum.
Vote: acfan

I'm kinda neutral on Jordan.

Wario seems like a good choice for SK.

And finally, the xerebz lynch was really, really stupid.

Hi JDodge.

How was the lynch stupid?

Though apart from that, I agree with that analysis.

First things first - Lynch on page 4 = not good thing, especially when it's as uninformed as it was.

Secondly - you all noted that it was
newb
scum. He had asked for replacement. It stands to reason that he'd
probably
given up altogether.

Thirdly - he was in a newbie game I was in and at the end he said he'd decided he didn't like mafia. But I didn't expect you to know that.

Hey JDodge

Your analysis, while concise, seems vague. Can you give a little more detail about each point?

I thought he'd given up was because he was scum and he was being pressured too much. I agree a Page 4 lynch isn't usually good, but if you were 99% certain someone was scum, would you delay lynching them, no matter what page you were on. He looked a lot like newbscum, so we lynched him, it's not our fault he was a horrible player.

I was referring to the whole game. Still, I don't know if it's super-suspicious behavior, just something I am keeping an eye on.

Well I was the first to call out xerebz on his strange unvote, though it was a mistake considering he turned up town. But his play was rather peturbing.

JDodge, have you seen acfan play as townie before and act different?Maybe this is just his playing style.

I don't like how you post your inferences, but give no details. If you're not going to explain them in the first place, then why bother posting them?

You assume that every little bit and piece of analysis is going to help. I've become rather cynical of the uses of long, drawn out analysis; I feel that clear and concise analysis is best.

You also make a fairly good point about acfan, and now that I think about it I haven't seen him as town, but
regardless of playstyle
he is still the scummiest IMO.
