Somehow, the sun seemed unlikely to ever rise again.
The world seemed to grow quiet, and the people of Kodak grew afraid that their world would be destroyed.
Suddenly, there was a huge rocket explosion, which ignited the sun.
The town, putting aside their fears, run out, screaming with joy, but their jubulation sooned turn to utter horror. Because although this rocket had started the day, that was not it's original purpose. The town watched, unable to do anything, as the intercontinental balistic missile, traced an elegant arc, and landed on JDodge's house.
But no explosion came. JDodge run forward from out of the crowd, screaming for the safety of his various pieces of oriental china, and expensive silverware, and his exotic fish (named River and Death, no less). After all, as a reclusive collector, he did gather many objects of value.
The town relaxed, and started to turn away. Then there was a loud gargle, and JDodge's house simply dissolved, as huge quantities of acrillic blue paint burst out of the missile, swamping him, and his house.
Lowell ran forward, pleased that he could finally use his lifeguard training. After all, he had gone to a town without any bodies of water to gain a new perspective on aquatic rescue, and now he would finally be able to gain it. He voiced loudly to the town of all the creative opportunities that this would give him. The town cheered, as he had almost dragged the comatose JDodge out of the water, and then, seemingly out of no where, a large heavy book flew out of a window, and collided with Lowell's face. There were a few bubbles, and both sank beneath the blue paint sea.
The strange thing was, when the town dragged Lowell's body out, his hands had been savagely cut off, and there were signs of napkin fibers in his clothes.
