I'm getting caught up, so hold on.

After a quick skim, I really don't like BM, because in his last post he stated that BillyTwilight could be the partner to MBL, despite supposedly having an earlier innocent investigation. I don't want to rehash the soup thing because it's silly to take an unknown variable THAT seriously, but I'm assuming that The Cook is responsible for the soup. Since BM gave the impression of knowing more than he was letting on about the soup, it is possible that he is the cook. However, he claimed to be the cop.

Now, when I first read the claim, I thought at first that BM was saying that he was The Cop, not a cop. The way I see it, if somebody counterclaimed, then he could then claim to be the character The Cop. Of course, TCS was The Cop, which I grant could still make BM the cop.

I need a reread.

In the meantime, BM said he would provide flavor if we wished it. I would wish it, but I'm not going to demand it from him without the rest of you agreeing.

Meh. Well, we are having a bit of a row in Clue 1, so I would be inclined to believe that your telling the truth... although MBL isn't alive in Clue 1 currently. But this is the second time that you have insinuated I am scum after claiming an investigation on me (post #s 261 and 263); your claim is looking weaker and weaker.

It's been years since I have seen the movie, but I don't *remember* this character. In the movie, the chief was the chief of what?

EDIT: Just looked through the script (great movie, btw) and found the chief/evangelist. For the time being I am content to believe BM, but please be more careful with "confusing" the threads. I don't think I could take that as an excuse for another slip-up.

For anyone who doesn't know the Chief/ Evangelist comes to the door to "sell bibles", but is actually the chief of the FBI. I still think MBL is the play today.

I'm willing to believe MBL isn't scum since his behavior in the other games when he's close to a lynch differs from this game.

Then again, the stalling seems like a reasonable excuse to place a lynch that is full of BS.
