Ring of Spears also seems to have zero correlation with Mafia ability text description or smite ability.

Yes - but he claimed the role blocker thing was part of his BP Ravens ability - not the ultimate. So contradiction.

My role doesn't include any hint of my ultimate, so all the Otolia-doublevoter stuff is null.

I was thinking last night that Metal was acting townier and townier and I didn't really want him to die, but all his "Otolia is a policy lynch gogogo" totally negates that.

My original plan had Metal protecting you, because the roleblock would be irrelevant at that point. But if your protector is scum, I think it's highly likely that they'll just sacrifice themselves to kill you. So, really, your protector should be someone you think is town over anything else.
