Possibly the most notable issue is him going after Barmacral for random voting. His stated reason for the vote is for pressure. I'm pretty okay with this vote.

I don't like his 3rd post, where he 'frames' Barm --> says Barm is not intersted in scum hunting. Barm's original post says he doesn't think random voting furthers the game, and nowhere does he imply he's disinterested in scum hunting. In a twisted sense, I could argue the reverse, that Barm thinks because random voting is useless, we should get right down to scumhunting, ie, implying he wants to find out who is scum.

Post 4 shows ryan attacking Barm for contradiciting himself by random voting after saying he wasn't going to random vote. He was the first one to point this out, so this is plus points for ryan.

Post 7 confirms ryan thinks Barm is scum. This is consistent. I'll address Tarh later. He pokes inactive people, and followes up with a vote on fernando (said inactive).

He swings pretty much back and forth between barm and Fernando this game, with solid reasons. I see nothing wrong in his play.

Sort of. Definitely did what I asked, but you didn't really get to conclusion, which was my aim - do you think EB is scum?

I do not have a concrete opinion on EB at this time. He hasn't posted enough for me to get an accurate read on him. His top two scum choices weren't fingered very well and I didn't get much after reading that post. He's definetly a lurker but I'm not sure if that concludes he's scum.

Will post my initial impressions in a bit, as soon as I've given the thread a brief review.

We're past the random vote stage, and clinging to them is kinda ridiculous.

Ryan actually strikes me as one of the less suspicious characters here. He is active and tries to keep the game that way. On the other hand, his input seems to focus mostly on these lurkers... an analysis of what

has

been posted would not go amiss. Aimee's posts are organized and rational. The "take-charge" approach worries me a little; could be scum leading the town. But she's placing equal suspicion on anyone, which strikes me as nothing more than an attempt draw out discussion. I'm inclined to say townie for both.

I don't have anything recent on Tarhalindur. I'll wait on that one until he returns to the thread, though his tendency to change votes at the beginning was worrisome. FeRnAnDo was very quiet early on in the game, and the content of his posts hasn't really helped discussion. Barmacral's in there too... what few posts he has seem contradictory at best.

Fair enough... more post analysis would be welcome, but I realize you're committed to modding elsewhere, etc.

As for my thoughts on Barmacral, maybe my account of him there was a little harsh. He's been a cautious player, and hasn't really pointed fingers at anyone in particular. That's a fairly protown mindset (early on, at least).

I am a lurker, always have been. I'm not very good at doing analysis, so I generally stay quiet, read everyone elses analysis, and base my votes off of what I agree with most.

He seems to be more of a follower than a lurker, but "caving to pressure" from the rest of the town comes across as highly suspicious. An easily-swayed townie can be as much a detriment to lynch-accuracy as the scum. As for contradiction... I can cite his sudden changes in attitude towards random votes and Fernando's scumminess. Neither of these are necessarily scumtells, but they're noteworthy.

An idea (just an idea) Is to edit it in to the top of each new page, (in a different color like Blue or Red) than we know to look at the top of every new page for the latest vote count.

You justified your absense? With what, a OMGUS comment? You didn't DO or SAY anything, you posted to show you weren't lurking and did a terrible job at that. EB was known to be missing most of (if not the entire game) so you saying you'd post after he did was a nice way to make up for you NOT DOING ANYTHIN. Excuses won't get you off the hook in this one, if you are the teacher, than I just schooled you my friend.

Tarhalindur Note: I'm still here, with a little more access than I've had for the last week or so. Unfortunately, I've fallen a bit behind in this game. I'll try to reread and get my thoughts on the game and my reply to Aimee in in the next couple of days.

A quick glance at the thread tells me that ryan is attacking Fernando. I don't like this; as I noted before I got hit with limited access, I spotted something in one of Fernando's posts that makes me 90% sure he's pro-town.
