I think we don't have to direct the vig at this point, but it might be necessary later on in the game. I don't see why directing would be bad. If it's because there's scum in the town, lynching would be bad too, since the lynch target is likely to be affected by scum.

Okay, so here's the thing.

Bertrand's latest posts are bothering me. He hardly gives any opinion in his posts, and he went from 'CESc is probably the best candidate for a lynch, but I don't feel comfortable lynching him' to 'CES is the pretty much the lynch for today' without any reasoning.

Mostly because no better cases have come up and we don't have infinate time.

And it's hard to make opinions when people are voting then avoiding explanation of their actions, such as Dagger's reasoning which I am still waiting for.

That said, I don't think that's a good reason at all, unless we know for a fact CES isn't scum. And that's not something I'd bet on.

ThAdmiral's posts stand out too. He's really eager to lynch me. In fact, he acts like he's got a guilty on me, while I know this isn't possible.

I think everyone noticed that you appear to be 100% sure I'm scum, so there's not really much to lose. No matter who the cop is, they should take into account the possibility of sanity issues. CES's reasoning makes a lot of sense, admittedly. Pointing it out would be very protown if he wasn't expecting a roleclaim.

Except he is. He wants the entire thread to know the cop's identity, and that's a rather scummy motive.
