Hi guys. I've not played any kind of dethy in a forum but I've played a couple of scumchat games. How are we going to do this? Do we just announce our results or pick a random order?

When I played it on scumchat, the usual way we were looking at things was to assume each player is scum (in turn) and see if that was possible from the results we had, and what each cop would be in that case. I'll probably do that when we get JDodge's result if someone else hasn't.

As a general observation, I asked the mod before the game, and you can't investigate yourself (you can but you will get an innocent result regardless of sanity). Not sure if that would be a good strategy night 0 but it's out anyway.

Meh. I haven't yet found a way to force a win from this. I'll keep trying though. SSF is the most likely scum because Ms Piggy has an innocent on JDodge, and there's a 50% chance Ms Piggy is a sane cop, but there's nothing to seperate me from SSF yet.

Yeah, it was rushed. I wasn't sure whether we were doing it then or waiting until :45 or possibly for JDodge. When I saw one guy post a result, I quickly posted mine too.

I don't mind the plan. Everyone investigating me right? And I check Dodge or SSF. Should I say who or keep it to myself?

Blah. Ok. Checking in after work I see that I am cleared by virtue of these two both having a guilty on me. Unfortunately, we haven't got this one in the bag yet it seems. I investigated SSF, and got a guilty. I'll think about this. Don't no lynch or do anything until I get a chance. We can probably still have good odds here.

So I'm 50/50 insane or paranoid. Ms Piggy is 50/50 sane or naive. SSF has a guilty result on him from me which makes it more likely he's town (if I'm insane, SSF is town). JDdodge has an innocent on him from Ms Piggy which makes it more likely he's town (if Piggy is sane, JDodge is town). So they're on an equal standing from that point of view. Unfortunately, at least one of myself and Piggy must be a useless cop, and possibly both of us are useless.

The play tonight is for me to investigate JDodge, and Ms Piggy to investigate SSF. JDodge and SSF investigate each other. Whoever is nightkilled, tomorrow the two suspects should probably have to claim their results simultaneously, and before the confirmed innocent.

It's late here, so if that doesn't make any sense, someone point out why. I think that's the situation though. I'll think a bit more but that may be the best we have.

Yeah I got a guilty on JDodge. Once again no easy fixes for us. I'll probably choose sometime soon, just checking the facts to see if I'm missing something. Feel free to shoot holes in each other.

The biggest thing I can see is that Ms Piggy (either naive or sane) got an innocent investigation on JDodge, which makes it more likely he's town. There is no equivalent investigation on SSF now that it's been shown that I always get guilty results.

I didn't think I could justify voting the other way. Statistically it was more likely for JDodge to be innocent because of Ms Piggy's investigation on him. There were a few smaller things going around but that seemed to be the biggest thing to base a decision on.

Well that's a relief. I thought the late result on day 1 was a slight point in his favour, I thought as scum he could come up with a result less helpful to the town. Last night's kill gave me mixed feelings though, I could have seen an argument either way.

Yeah, I thought Thok would check JDodge even though the plan was officially to have everyone investigate me. Investigating JDodge was better play but needed to be kept quiet.

Bad luck SSF, nobody wants to be scum in this setup.

Ms Piggy, it was statistically (if thats the word?) less likely that he was scum because of your innocent investigation on him. Even without that I'd probably have voted SSF because of the point about JDodge giving the town such a useful result on day 1 (as scum he could have made up a less helpful result).

This is what I thought at first. But then I thought that if JDodge as scum had killed me, he'd know Piggy would turn up an innocent on SSF, and then JDodgescum would likely be lynched in the endgame (because my guilty on SSF would make SSF look more innocent). So I could see an argument for JDodge as scum wanting to avoid that likely loss and gambling on me being a useless cop.
