I don't mind claiming early on, but I'd like to see Nanook or pie claim first. If we continue down this line though, and everyone names their top "first claim" choices, we're sacrificing the ability to get claims out while scum don't know how much pressure they're under.

Since we both put our cards down before pie suggested we just get the claim out first, I'm not too fussed about whether we do pick an order randomly, or pick it based on general town suspicion, but we ought to think about it before everyone just blurts out who they'd like to see claim first. I think the latter is a generally good idea, though.

If scum is dumb enough to do this, it would a) practically confirm our power roles, b) allow our power roles to coordinate with each other, c) figure out who's been acting un-vanilla townieish and lynch them. This would honestly be a best-case scenario for the town.

I'm not a fan of a dice-determined order, because we should be able to do better than random given that we have information. To take power out of scum's hands, I'd be okay with Kilm determining the entire claim order as long as she goes first, though.

Why are you saying this? It is NOT helpful to the town for suspicions to be telegraphed. If you have reasons to suspect Dasquian, wait for after the massclaim, but it would be better if you hadn't said anything at all. This only helps scum.

Nope - are we certain anyone's town? Setting a scummy order could be huge evidence later on though, as results start to come out.

There's such a disadvantage to going first that, hypothetically, if Kilm was scum and set up an awful scenario for the town, it would still be worth it for us.

Alright, to start the claiming off, here goes.

I am a one shot vig, my flavor would go in there if there were flavor, but there is no flavor, so there is nothing in the PM. One time per game, in the night I can send in the name of a person to kill. I win when all threats are elminated from the town.

Last night I took out MBL. As I said before, I have played with MBL and he is a really good BS'er, he really messes with the town and confuses the town, that is why yesterday I was fine with letting MBL off the hook because I knew I was going to take a shot at him last night, I figured he probably was not the doc, but obviously I was wrong. If you look back at my posts, I kind of let people know I was a vig by saying that I was pretty sure that MBL wouldnt make it through the night.
This is how I would like the claim list to go.

I am vanilla town. When I posted earlier about my PM getting deleted, I totally forgot about the vanilla PM being posted in the initial mod post. This is why I was concerned that my claim would be indistinguishable from mafia, because I was concerned they would all claim vanilla town too.

i understand your worries here, but i don't think scum would claim vanilla. they would claim a power role. discrediting the real power role, and playing the rest of the game in their position.
