These kind of questions are good however, because they bring out some real responses from people.

Biggest flaw in towngame: I can be a little too persuasive and lead town into lots of mislynches. I can also overanalyze things and end up coming to the wrong conclusion.
Biggest flaw in scumgame: Only have 2 scum games on here and both went pretty well. The way I play does tend to cause people to want to cop-check me, however.

I see too much use of Meta. Just because someone acts towny, doesn't mean they can be. People can adjust and blend in with Meta that others have made.
Soooo I'd like to argue that some are more scummy, not more towny, because Meta fits in too quickly and on a first day.

I just want to piggyback on this and say yes, meta is bad.

Meta is perfect for how it has been used up to this point, i.e. generating discussion. But Kitz is exhibiting townish paranoia. Which leads me to my second townread and I don't usually townread at all, but I'll give it a try this game.

Agree that it is useful to generate discussion early on, but bad as a foundation for your actual reads.

The only other person I would consider switching to would be acryon, for his #401. It felt like mafia trying to egg on bad analysis, especially since he didn't really seem to follow it up with anything.

The dragonspawn wagon certainly smells like a counterwagon to a scum wagon. If it is, I suspect Aeronaut the most on the counterwagon (and of course vikingfan). Came in third on the wagon only after it clearly had a little traction and just sheeped Boon's reasoning (which isn't bad in and of itself, but it's hard to tell if Aero had his own reasons).

No, If vikingfan is scum, then dragon is more likely to be town with scum on his wagon. If he's town, then the votes on dragon are not as suspect.

There is a big difference between saying something is a good point and changing my read on someone from null to scummy enough to take the vote from my current scum-read.

If my scum-read disappeared, it is only because the wagon analysis points to Viking-scum and Dragon-town. But that doesn't mean I'm considering either the truth until we get a flip.

NakedJogger, I suggest that you tunnel or pressure without having to take the recourse of unnecessary language. Once that Pandora's box is open, there's no coming back.

Very confused by this. You have one scum-read in this giant game, and the guy you are scum-reading is V/LA so you just check out of the game? How is that good for town regardless of my alignment or your confidence in it? (Hint: It's not)

My issue here is that in 546, you attribute the resistance to your wagon as presumably legitimate due to people having played with you (ergo meta). I get that it is useful for discussion, but in 546 you seem to be accepting of it by others as a defense for you.

I'm only town reading wolf and house. Wolf because of meta. House a combo of meta and other reason.

I don't have a read on Klingon yet because meta reading doesn't work well on her in my experience. Nor do I have a read on fa. He hasn't given me much to work with yet.

Yes, you said it is "theoretically possible", but your tone is pretty clear that you think it's more likely they came to defend you because they have played enough with you to know your usual game (meta). No, this doesn't speak to their alignment either way, but you do appear to be lending credence to your wagon's resistance based on the individuals' meta-reads on you.
