Whatever strikes my fancy, I'll respond to. Things like opinions on me being scum catch my eye and get me mildly engaged, but serve as little more than a futile distraction; they aren't actually getting me more invested, though there's always the hope they will.

It's not a good attitude to take, and frankly sounds arrogant. It is, however, the attitude I'm feeling, and I can't help it. It's there. It's not going away. It's not even apathy. I know apathy. Apathy, where you don't care, you legitimately don't care, and only go through the motions for others, is not what I'm having. It's just an entire lack of desire to actually effort. It'll get fixed somehow, sometime, but right now it's not.

Voting me to catch my eye is all nice and good, but even given the above, an actual serious attempt to lynch me would be folly. Which I'm sure contributes to the problem. There's no danger. I know I'm not getting lynched; I also am confident I will not die. So subconsciously, I just feel like...you know, "Meh, I can wait".

Given your claim, probably more likely town than not, and REGARDLESS, even without any claim from you you're not someone I'd want to lynch without a scumread on you (one I most certainly haven't had even the slightest niggle of since you came in, even though it's taken you softclaiming to get even the slightest niggle of a townread), meaning definitely not a D1 lynch.
