I'm not sure about a 'no lynch'. I think a lynch gives us way more information. For example, if gorckat is lynched and he turns out to be a townie (he could even very well be the jester I think, but then it's over anyway), it adds even more arguments to Sir Tornado and LawrenceLot as scum. But gorckat is one of the active players, so in that regard it'll be bad to lose him.

My scumdar includes Tornado and Lawrence both, as well as a couple other people to a lesser degree.

Also my current jester meter is Lawrence/Gorkat.

Personally I'd rather no lynch than lynch Gorkat, there is something about the concept of lynching someone who as one point said to lynch then that just seems silly in this game setup.

My 2 cents.

If we lynch someone, we can go on to day 2 based on the identity of the person we have lynched and the NK.

I believe, as I had said somewhere on page 2 that Gorckat and Lawrencelot are the scum, and am willing to take responsibility for either of their lynches (in other words, if they go bad, you can lynch me tomorrow -- no, before anyone asks, I am NOT the Jester)

Alright. We could thiesably(????? wtf ever) go with a no lynch today(I hate too though) and it *would* bring us down to an even number of people, and theoretically scum *would* have to kill the jester in order to meet their win clause, and scum is all for winning the same amount the town is.

As long as you kill Lawrence, assuming he's not scum, then we're fine. As pick noted, and I've said over and over, if scum want to win, they kill Lawrence, else we lynch him tomorrow. If he's the Jester, everyone loses.

Its not always bad. There are situations where it can be mathematically shown to be better.

This situation is unique. You will either be a NK'd Jester or a lynched scum day 2. I didn't run the numbers all the way through, but I don't think the town loses any faster in this case (No-Lynch vs Lynch) assuming incorrect lynches the whole way through.
