First, to xombie's and someone else who i can't remember thing about neighborhoods. Yes plural. This isn't a new mechanic is it? Been done before. Don't think so. Yes they (plural) help me.

MS is pretty much almost obvitown. Idk much about him though.

Bitmap Rach Ihouse imp and solar wind are also fairly strong townreads.

Everyone else is almost as lurky as me. Except in a few cases

Ffery, can you explain your town read on TD? What am I missing there?

There's a trajectory to my read. I'm not sure how much of it is in the thread vs in the neighborhood, so I'm going to summarize it in this post. I went into the game thinking there's a decent chance of scum in our neighborhood purely based on the neighborhood size, and thinking that scum have to be scattered around here and there in the pantheons. Bookitty and Imperium both towned it up pretty hard before TD had posted any content at all. So by the time he entered the game thread and neighborhood, I was predisposed to think he might be scum. His entrance wasn't quite as one-dimensional as I associate with him as scum (based on the xenoblade theme game where we were on a scum team together). So, I backed off to see what he'd do.

There was a kerfuffle between our slot and Imperium-tammy in the game thread which moved to the neighborhood and turned into a huge wall exchange there. TD did something at that point which to me is completely antithetical to scum. He decided the argument was town v town rather than subtly or blatantly encouraging the acrimony onward, or even just ignoring it and letting it take its potentially lengthy course.

This made a huge impression on me, because I thought that our neighborhood was going to be useless while things were so hostile and confused.

Scum could do that, and sophisticated scum probably would do that, but sophisticated is not my impression of TD's scum game.

Seeing it in real time, it looked like a genuine read/reaction to me.

Right now, I feel it's likely that our neighborhood is all town.

Would also like an explanation of your Brantz scumread, and why Blonde is so far down the scumlist when similar low content posters seem to be in your null pile (and ZZZX in your townpile)?

Flat-out just gut, really. I didn't like Brantz's posts, liked the push against Brantz, and haven't liked Blonde.

You put TD in your scumpile but you said that his awful posting was town. Elaborate on this.

Combination of continued bad posting, thinking my memory on the TD-tell may be faulty, and others pointing out their own reasons for thinking TD was scum, while not really buying the reasons for TD being town. (Which I believe was you, so no offense; the argument just didn't resonate with me. Doesn't make it wrong, just makes it not something that appealed to me.) So sort-of sheeping.

More curious why he's a town read.

Like ZX, a bit hard to explain, but basically, his content's simply town.

How did you find my ISO so town? What made me a strong townread for you by just reading my ISO?

Hi, have some reads.

farside's PV vote is town. I didn't like the PV post right before it either, but that's primarily because I don't like anything he's posted recently. They all feel like he's trying to cherrypick things that look like he's doing something but don't actually do anything.

Not a fan of mastin right now. Something about this post bugs me and I can't put my finger on what exactly.

RachMarie is probably town. She's usually difficult for me to read (I actually don't know if I've ever been able to read her before at least a couple day phases have passed), but I'm feeling town tingles from her engages. Solar Wind feels kinda sorta town for the Rach read too; partially for the read but more because of the way he put it out there. I'm wary about it because of the focus shift to other reads instead of continuing mastin's engage. It could be scum trying to probe at the read and planning to back off immediately, but it's less likely than a town engage due to how vague mastin's response was + mastin already leaning scum.

I'm torn on Imperium. I tend to townread Nacho's posts and scumread Tammy's posts this game. I'm somewhat torn on Nacho further since I believe he's played with me enough to have an idea of what makes me tick (iirc the only completed games we have were him as scum and me as town, and both times he used different strategies against me), and the way he went about interacting with/about me feels town. It's nothing concrete and I have a method of reading him that will eventually give me a stronger read. The main issue is Tammy in that her posts ping scum when they ping anything at all, but I have a feeling in the back of my head that the more emotional type of play (at least compared to Nacho) is ringing a false positive. Can anyone who knows how to read her help me solidify this?

I like how your play is radically different from FFX. if you're scum, good to see that your scumgame has improved. if you're town, good for you to look back and compare your play and identify strengths and weaknesses.

He's the only player in the hood I'm not townreading, and the way he was commenting on his role and playing up wanting an all town neighborhood looked like scum fishing to me.

This is the first post I've liked from beast.

I'm pretty null on mastin myself. Last time I played with her I went from town read to scum read and she was town.
