Tokaido seems like the perfect game if you want something zen, because you're always collecting things. If you like stress, panic, and hard choices, this probably isn't the right game.
There will be no kisses tonight
There will be no holding hands tonight
'Cause what is now wasn't there before and should not be
Thanks, looks good. Seeing what my Aberdeen board game group thinks, they arent huge fans of cooperative games, I managed to convince one of them to play BSG out of 4. (the others are semi interested, but that may be because I avoided saying co-operative in any discussion I've had with them)
Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.

It's not
that
zen though. It can be pretty cut throat in terms of blocking people off. There aren't that many difficult choices admittedly but.
are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?

I'm in. Saturday would work slightly better for me. Preferably not at 6.30 am, though.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
I agree. Socio added it to our gaming circle. Frankly, anybody who doesn't have it should just give up on board games forever.

Just because it's tomorrow that we're talking about, how about 16:00 GMT as a start time? I assume we're using all the expansions, including the Fleet Board, and heading to Earth?

Was actually talking about next weekend, not this. I'm out tomorrow! But I think maybe just Fleet Board to Kobol/Nebula? One new element at a time seems about right to me, but happy to be overruled if others want to go all in
Alright, then I misunderstood, but that's fine. Next weekend should be cool.

on the ipad and iphone so that we could play together. But we've just had two attempts at online multiplayer, and both times the game broke. Each time we set up a game for just two players and invited the other person. Building ships was fine, and the game was clearly interacting with each other, exchanging components and such. But as soon as we finish and get started on the mission, for some reason we it opens up a different mission card for each of us, e.g. I see Open Space and CES sees Pirates. And then we can't proceed because on my version it's waiting for CES to power up his engines, and on his it is waiting for me to choose which lasers to use.
Anyone experienced this? Any ideas why it's happening, and/or how to fix it?
