BM: First, what exactly do you hate about my post? And why would it be admirable if I were scum but not if I am town? The point of scum is to pretend to help town, isn't it?
But not the way you did in your last post.
What do you mean you are still confident? You haven't posted anything that indicates that you were so confident in the interpretation. Please point it out if I am mistaken.

Wadsworth: "...you switched off the electicity. It was easy for you, here on the ground floor. Then, in the dark, you got the lead pipe and the rope, strangled Yvette, ran to th elibrary, killed the cop, picked up the gun where Yvette dropped it, opened the fron tdoor, recognized the singing telegram from her photograph, and shot her."

Miss Scarlet: "You've no proof."

Wadsworth: "The gun is missing. Gentlemen, turn out your pockets. Ladies, empty your purses. Whoever has the gun is the murderer."

Everyone does so. Suddenly, Miss Scarlet pulls out the revolver. She points it at him.

Miss Scarlet: "Brilliantly worked out, Wadsworth. I congratulate you."

Colonel Mustard: "Me too!"

Miss Scarlet: "Shut up!"

Mr. Green: "Now, there's one thing I don't understand."

Professor Plum: "ONE thing?"

Mr. Green: "Why did you do it? Half of Washington knows what kind of business you run. You were in no real danger. The whole town would be implicated if you were exposed."

Miss Scarlet: "I don't think they know my real business. My business it secrets. The secrets of Senator Peacock's defense committee, of Colonel Mustard's fusion bomb, Professor Plum's U.N. contacts, and the work of your husband," (walks to Mrs. White) "the nuclear physicist."

Mr. Green: "So. It IS political. You're a communist!"

Miss. Scarlet: "No, Mr. Green. Communism is just a red herring. Like all members of the oldest profession, I'm a capitalist. And I'm gonna sell my secrets--your secrets--to the highest bidder."

Colonel Mustard: "And what if we don't cooperate?"

Miss Scarlet: "You will. Or I'll expose you."

Professor Plum: "We could expose you. Six murders...?"

Miss Scarlet: "I hardly think it will enhance your reputation at the U.N., Professor Plum, if it's revealed that you have been implicated not only in adultery with one of your patients, but in her death." (she lowers the revolver at him) "And the deaths of five other people?"

Professor Plum: "You don't know what kind of people they have at the U.N. I might go up in their estimation."

Colonel Mustard starts toward Miss Scarlet. She brings the revolver around to bear on him.

Colonel Mustard: "It is no good blackmailing me, madam. I have no more money!"

Miss Scarlet: "I know, sweetie pie. But you can pay me in government information. All of you. Except you, Wadsworth. You, as a mere butler, have no access to government secrets." (she cocks the gun) "So I'm afraid your moment has come."

Wadsworth: "Not so fast, Miss Scarlet. I do have a secret or two."

Miss Scarlet: "Oh yeah? Such as?"

Wadsworth: "The games up, Scarlet. There are no more bullets left in that gun."

Miss Scarlet: "Oh, come on, you don't think I'm gonna fall for that old trick?"

Wadsworth: "It's not a trick. There was one shot at Mr. Boddy in the study. Two for the chandelier, two at the lounge door, and one for the singing telegram."

Miss Scarlet: "That's not six."

Wadsworth: "One plus two plus two plus one."

Miss Scarlet: "Uh, uh. There was only one shot that got the chandelier. That's one plus two plus ONE plus one."

Wadsworth: "Even if you are right, that would be one plus one plus two plus one, not one plus TWO plus one plus one."

Miss Scarlet: "Okay, fine. One plus two plus one--Shut up! Point is, there's one bullet left in this gun, and guess who's going to get it?"

The doorbell rings. Scarlet is distracted by it. Wadsworth turns her arm around, taking the gun and forcing her to kneel on the floor.

Miss Scarlet: "Wadsworth, don't hate me for trying to shoot you..."

Wadsworth: "Frankly, Scarlet, I don't give a damn. As I was trying to tell you, there are no bullets left in this gun. You see?"

He pulls the trigger, firing the sixth bullt through the rope of the second chandelier. Wadsworth is perplexed. Scarlet shrugs, embarrassed.

Wadsworth: (quietly) "On plus two...plus one..."

Colonel Mustard: (counting on his fingers) "...plus two, plus one...is--"

And the chandelier shatters on the floor.

MrBuddyLee, Miss Scarlet, has been lynched Day 2.

It is now Night 2. Choices, please!

As soon as the door shuts on Miss Scarlet, they relax somewhat--at least the immediate danger is past.

Mr. Green: (accusatory) "I TOLD you I didn't DO it!"

Colonel Mustard: "But what if the authorities find out what happened?"

Wadsworth: "The F.B.I. will take care of that."

Colonel Mustard: "You mean . . . ?"

Wadsworth: "My phone call from Mr. Hoover? I work for him, of course. How else could I have known everything about you all?"

Unfortunately, when the lights come back on, Wadsworth is slumped across the floor, apparently beaten to death.

The Central Scrutinizer, Wadsworth, Cop, is dead.

It is now Day 3, with 8 alive it takes 5 to lynch!

Please explain. I wanted to give MBL a chance to claim and defend without fear of TCS hammering him before MBL had a chance. I didn't completely believe that there would be two cops in the game. I thought he was at lynch -1, but because MoS went back and added a vote to MBL for someone who voted after the official vote count (it was you BM, posts 205 and 206). I counted the votes in the vote count post then added your's to that and that gave me enough for lynch -1, so I unvoted waiting for a claim. Realized my mistake a revoted him after that.

Well, I'm assuming it's somebody's role. I'm surprised to see a day ability like that. It may be an odd thought, but it did happen after Billy FoSed him, twice. It's unlikely that that is the cause though.

Alright folks, here's the deal. I'm a bit embarrassed by my lack of participation in this game, and Im sure others feel the same. After 3 1/2 months, are page counts are 10,11, and 8. We need to do something about it and so while this isnt necessarily the best plan, it may help.
I think part of our problem is getting confused between the games. My suggestion is to get to the 3 different endings, we need to focus on them one at a time. Let's focus on Clue 1, make progress and not worry about 2 until 1 is finished or 3 until 2 is done. Either that, or we can do Clue 1 until the end of day 1, then do Clue 2 until the end of day 1 and so on. Clue 3 is already at the end of day 1. Hopefully by doing this, we can revive the activity.
