What choices were there, really?

Spoiler:
I played through the game as a Thief--seemed pretty broken considering Bleeding stacked some ridiculous amount. In the day two quests, I sided with Kyle both times because, seriously, who would ever side with Cartman. I ended up with mostly-100% completion. I think I'm missing 1-2 friends and some of the hidden achievements--it was hilarious when I beat Kenny--I didn't know there was an achievement for beating him in the makeover outfit, then I got it and was like #hype. They really thought of everything.

Just beat DA:I. It was pretty swell, though I feel like I cheesed it too much. Going to go back through with a Warrior, see if that feels better.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

When I did the last fight, I had to reload 3 times due to glitches. <_<

I didn't have that problem, but I spent most of the time just spamming barrier while Cassandra and Iron Bull wailed on him, so maybe I just didn't notice. The final boss of this game felt a lot more epic than the bosses of the first two, though, which I really liked. Also,
what's the deal with the dragon? The game keeps calling it an Archdemon, but then going "But it's not really an Archdemon. But it's an Archdemon."

Once he glitched out and just stood there and let me wail on him without doing his scripted attack pattern before moving to the last platform, once he did the same before the
dragon fight
, and once the
dragon fight
never loaded and I just kinda stood around awkwardly because he was invincible at 1 HP. Maybe I killed him too quickly or something.

I think
it's not an Archdemon in the sense that it does not have the soul of an Old God in it, but rather just part of the soul of Corypheus. The characters call it "his Archdemon" because that's their concept for that kind of dragon.

I didn't get any loading glitches, but maybe I did get the attack glitch and didn't notice- he spent most of the first segment of the fight doing nothing, and didn't really start doing real attacks until the final phase. The middle part seemed to work just fine, so I'm not sure what happened.

During the first part (well, second part) he's supposed to go up and shoot like laser beams at random players from an inaccessible position, and you have to micro-manage your party to hide behind the walls to dodge the fireballs and such. He only actually initiated that attack pattern 1 of the 4 times I played through the segment, though. I think the fight's kinda super bugged.

Also, one of the times through he talked to each of my party members, but he only did that to
Cassandra
most of the times. So I think he also has banter triggers that weren't triggering properly.

The other people who complained were also PS3/PS4 users, so maybe platform-specific.

Then I definitely glitched, and I'm on PC. The first part of the battle, he threw some magic around, then retreated to an inaccessible location, where he did nothing but banter until I did enough damage to him, then I had to chase him up some stairs and fight some more (which he did), and then
Dragon
, which seemed to work fine. After that, he seemed to alternate melee attack and firebeams.

And what was the deal with the Stinger?
Spoiler:
Is it Flemeth possessing Solas, or Solas absorbing Mythal? And Flemeth got the old god soul from Kieran in my play, so I assume that's in Solas now, too? And Solas is the one who gave the orb to Corypheus in the first place, making everything his fault? Except for releasing Corypheus in the first place, which is yet another Hawke failure? I wound up leaving Hawke in the Fade, partly because of that, and partly because recruiting the Grey Wardens with Loghain seemed like it would be better for the Inquisition.

I think basically
Kate Mulgrew is in OITNB now and/or got more expensive and/or lost interest so they had to write her out. So Solas will kinda take her place in future games.

Does anyone have any opinions on Final Fantasy III? It's 7.99 on steam and never played it before but thinking about getting it cause it's the cheapest I've seen the game at.

It's the real FF3, right?

It's the worst game in the franchise IMO. It's the only one I've never been able to soldier through.

FF6 (originally marketed as FF3 in the US) is fantastic, though.

FF6 IS amazing. The FF3 on steam looks like a new game, like a remastery of the original. I have no opinion of it, and quite frankly I am hesitant to touch anything Final Fantasy, since the last 10-or-so games in the series were crap. Boring protagonists, abhorrent stories, and uninteresting tedious gameplay.

I enjoyed 12, and 10, but those were the last two FF games that I really liked.

Final Fantasy 9 is the superior Final Fantasy.

In other news, Far Cry 4 is fucking awesome.

Final Fantasy 9 is inferior to Final Fantasy 6 through 8.

I enjoyed FFX but I couldn't even finish FFXII, and I played that at a time where I still enjoyed RPGs, so I think it's kind of awful

I finished Dragon Age: Origins for my full series playthrough. Also worked my way through the Darkspawn Chronicles and Leliana's Song DLCs. Just started Awakening, had forgotten that they had added Stamina Draughts, which I'm ecstatic about, playing as a Rogue.

And since I can't keep myself to one game at a time, I've also started The Talos Principle. This game is sweet so far. Philosophical sci-fi Portal is my best description of it after an hour, and I am
loving
it.

Nope. I'm planning to do Golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt after Awakening, since it looks like they're chronologically after it.
