You wouldn't happen to play Battle for Middle Earth 2, would you? He means the Numenorians that came to Middle Earth and built all the great structures of Gondor, or at least I think he does.
Vote: Indy
for not being able to make that distinction. :)

Yipe. My first impulse was to vote Numenorean 'cause he jumped right out of the gate when the game started like he had something to prove, but with three votes already on him, I'm not gonna do that.

vote: Indy
for being the second vote on him, which in my experience, scum really really like to do.
I do not play MS on weekends; consider me on V/LA during them

Yes, I do. The name comes from
  • Tall ships and tall kings
    Three times three
What brought they from the foundered land
    Over the flowing sea?
    Seven Stars and Seven Stones
    And one White Tree
I'm one of the Numenoreans who founed Gondor. If I were a black Numenorean, why would I be wearing the sea-bird crown? ;)
My first impulse was to vote Numenorean 'cause he jumped right out of the gate when the game started like he had something to prove
That was pure coincidence. I happened to be checking my watched topics for new activity shortly after Kison opened the voting.

After the fall of Numenor the "Men from the West" came to middle earth, those that were corrupted were called Black-Numenorians, the others (which settled and raised such kingdoms as Gondor) called themselves Dunedains if I recall correctly, it has been a while since I read all the books.
So unvote the Numenorian, they are hassled enough, and vote MightyFireball, because I am a wrathful little squirt ;)

Ah, sorry. I've only read The Silmarillion once, so my knowledge of events not in the Third Age is very limited.

That is correct. The Numenoreans who refused to take part in the invasion of Eldamar left Numenor and came to Middle Earth. Their descendants became the Dúnedain and founded Gondor and Arnor. A few other survivors still remained loyal to Sauron, and became the Black Numenoreans.

Well, if that's enough LOTR history, let's get down to playing MafiaScum. :D

I find people vote for themselves for two reasons....1.) they are town getting ready to get lynched and want to have that "I told you" last statement....or they are mafia 2.) trying to get people off their back..

neither really apply here...he is not close to being lynched..so, my guess is he cant handle the pressure of being mafia??..jesus, how can there be any pressure this early? Strange non-the-less...if he can explain it, I might unvote.

Some mods specifically state in the rules that voting for yourself is illegal (or at least has no effect). Kison didn't include that rule for this game, so I suppose voting yourself is acceptable.

Well, considering that its my first game(Well second including the one I'm playing in Road to Rome), this was the first time I actually read any set of rules.
