2) He has more abilities

Because I know I am pro-town, and Guardian would assign me this position, I would rather have him as director.

For the record, I don't really want to be director, since I don't even have any kind of setup ready.

Anyway, I'm glad you gave some fair reasoning, Albert. Your opinions on CTD? While I feel there's some kind of 'intense evil aurora' surrounding him, I can't fault any of his arguments, so naturally I'm trusting him.

I guess that's possible, but it's just as likely they just saw the game open up. I know I always glance at all the game forums whenever log onto the site, because I'm playing in games in all 4 forums, so I'm wouldn't be surprised if they also noticed the game thread right away.

Yeah, I saw the locked game while he was sending out the roles (assumingly ), and stalked it. I can see how scum in that situation might make that conscious joke, but I think anyone can agree you're in a gray area, because it's more-than-possible I was just stalking the thread, which I was.

Anyway, my plan is to have 3 players of completely unsure alignment as cryptos and 2 players of completely unsure alignment as SIAs so the scum won't know exactly who the information will be sent to.

If there is one player that is more trusted than another among SIA/crypto, then there is only need for 1 SIA/crypto, with 1 field agent protecting both.

Yos looks like a reasonable and capable player, that's why I voted him. I find myself disagreeing with his plan, which I don't like, so I voted guardian.

I am feeling a little better about Xd now. And on my first read-through I did find myself agreeing with some of his suspicions of the Guardian - YogurtBandit connection. That did seem pretty odd at the time, but almost too blatant to be truly scummy.

That's a terrible plan. Suppose we wind up with one scum SIA and one scum crypto. The scum SIA would send false info to the not scum crypto, and the not scum SIA would have a 50% chance of sending to the scum crypto, since a crypto can only receive one code at a time, and one is now busy, who would falsify his report.

Liaison(FBI): Yos - Yos's setups seem to be geared more toward finding scum than helping Bauer, and thats dangerous. Here, he gets to find his scum, but it'll take him longer as a liaison than as CIA

Liaison(White House): Guardian - Just seems fitting to me to put the #1 Proponent of the White House Plan into the White House

Liaison(NSA): ??? - NSA is essentially another SIA, but with abilities that can also help Jack Bauer, which we may need.

Wait...what?

If we're suspicious of the cryptos, and we're suspicious of the SIA's, then when a crypto says "I got a message, I'm not sure from where, but it says Albert told the mod to kill Yosarian last night", does the town believe him? If the town does, and Albert gets lynched, and he was town, then what? How do you know if it was the crypto lying, or one of the SIA's sending bad messages? And you don't really want the town to end up in a situation where they have to lynch a crypto who might still have more info he hasn't yet decoded anyway.

We do NOT want scummy looking people to be cryptos or SIA's.
