Now then. Two remain.

And I have this lovely voting urn here. What shall I do with it, I wonder?

Bah, I guess I'll read them.

Some of you managed to fit a lot of words onto these little ballots.

Spoiler: First Vote
I am voting for the finalist that did more to get himself to the end of this game. One finalist, with all due respect, got to the end of the game largely as a result of luck. This player was a target at many points of the game, and he skated by due to several coincidences. The other did everything in his power to ensure he would never have to worry about elimination. He did exactly what he planned to do, and although there were some unexpected obstacles in his way, they never endangered him. For that reason, I will be voting for
...
to win Survivor: Conclave.

Spoiler: Second Vote
And so, another survivor game draws to a close...

In the end, both players seemed of similar quality during their best moments. Neither of them really had a stranglehold on this game at any point, and both had some fortunate moments break their way as they headed towards the finals. In the end, I think our F2 is here mostly due to opportunistic skill on the both of them.

However, if we look at the weaknesses of either player, it's a different story. Quite frankly, I'm at a complete loss as to how ... might have improved his game. Given the way the merge worked out, with a widespread "vote out the threat" mentality, his under the radar style was perfectly geared to the challenges he faced. Conversely, there were a couple points in merge where ... burned bridges he should have left standing or screwed up his jury management. While he was still able to make it here despite those misplays, (a feat which I commend him for), nevertheless, my vote must be...

Spoiler: Third Vote
I said that this vote would be based entirely on a specific set of criteria. I am nothing if not true to my word. I have a lasso that says so. Here's the deal. The score was close, but ultimately just ten points separated both of you. But then, I reread the posts you both made. I'm placing my vote based on what was said, both in your posts, and in the subtext. [Player]. You had no problem pointing out some flaws in your game. [Other Player]. The flaws you pointed out were shallow at best, and not what I was looking for. [Other Player], I not only feel lied to by you in the game, I feel like most of the answers you provided were fake, and you did a poor job of convincing me otherwise. The straw that broke the camel's proverbial back, however, was [Other Player's] violation of my explicit instructions. In one specific area, he did what I asked him not to do, and in thinking about it, I find that it's representative somewhat of his game: spitting in the faces of jurors, and hoping it works out for the best. In my case, it didn't.

Spoiler: Fourth Vote
They both played relatively decent social games, perhaps almost equal in the sense that it is through their social games and their relationships with others that have brought them both to this point. As I'm writing this, I'm still wavering a bit, but I hope to make a decision by the end of this post. Coming into FTC was difficult since I had just gone through the shock of having been voted out. It was a long journey for me that ended abruptly, and while I felt a roller coaster of emotions I suddenly had this task thrust upon me before I could even steady myself. I was completely undecided and ready for ... and ... to wow me. At first neither of them did. I believe I've mentioned elsewhere that ... came off as taking credit for too many moves in this game that weren't his, and ... taking credit for too little moves in this game simply because there weren't many that were his. I waffled a bit and then leaned towards .... I couldn't see why ... deserved it more when there weren't any moves or plays that he had a hand in. There's been a part of me these last few days that so badly wanted a reason to vote for ... but as he answered I couldn't find one. However after seeing his closing speech I flipped to ... for a while this evening. He has me convinced he has played his own game the way he indented to play it, identifying what he was good at and going with it.

Image

Looking through this table I just made, ... played really hard during competitions and his play for whatever reason allowed him to survive in spite of that, when this was a game where threats were harshly dealt with by many people. He managed to stay just one step ahead of that. ... however made it so he didn't have to win competitions. I was considering voting ... not too long ago based on the fact that his social game kept him in this game by keeping him from becoming a threat. However I think ...'s social game kept him in this game
despite
him being a threat. It's close an I have flipped back and forth, because that's what I do apparently. But I think I'm ready to make my vote.

I think ... had a great social game, more comparable to ...'s (even better in some areas) than I expected going into FTC. But ... showed time and time again that when he shows up to play, he shows up to win. He was the major threat that eluded me, probably the main reason I lost this game, and for everything he's done in this game I feel confident to give him my vote.

Spoiler: Fifth Vote
Here's where we stand. It's three votes Zod, one vote Deadpool. It takes four to win...

I know no one in this game doubted this vote coming from me. Plain and simple: while I lost the game, I know I've gained a kick ass friend. Plenty of people in this jury questioned your jury management, and hell, you did yourself, but you played the game the way you wanted and its tough to fault you for that. Between strong social presence and UTR something-house, I'd prefer to award your side of things.

Without rambling:

Stay Cool! Don't change! Have a great summer! Call me! And other endings to the worst yearbook entries in history.

Congrats to you CC.

Also sorry to everyone for pulling out of the game, I think all of you know what was/is going on currently with me and the stress became too much to me during the game.

Good job to literally everyone who played, that was one of the most determined casts ever, and two new players in the final three is just amazing! I had so much fun playing this game, and I realized it's the first anon game I didn't quit! :P I'll be talking to like all of you when I get home tonight, but oh my god this was so crazy.
