I keep seeing my name mentioned as "in the scum list." And no one can tell me why. The only thing that I have heard is from TS, which I have shown to be completely ridiculous in terms of reasons to vote. Will someone please tell me what my predecessor did that was so scummy?

I think Thok's voting pattern is pretty telling: distancing one day, avoiding townie lynches, jumped onto scum late.

Hackerhuck's has already been talked about.
I wouldn't hang my hat on Toaster Strudel's analysis of my voting patterns, since it's inaccurate.

I have some concerns with TSS now. He has managed to avoid every single lynch so far this game. He actually did have votes on Twito and MoS at some point and pointed some suspicion of Fritzler at the end of the day yesterday. It seems that this scum group had no problems distancing themselves pretty well with the early votes, but neither Fritzler nor MoS seemed to have anything to say about him.

Just something I caught when rereading and it made me laugh...

Dear Thokity Wokity,

One bright young TSS has failed to answer my question of:
Save The Dragons wrote: How are you so damn sure it was the mafia who killed the Mafia Spy?
when I presented evidence that suggested that other kill sources could have killed the Mafia Spy. I do believe a traitor is a traitor, meaning I don't care if you started a million bandwagons on Twito, at this point I'm in the belief that mafia didn't know.
Thok wrote:I'd also argue that you've given a fairly good description of Ether's play; she got on Twito late, jumped away from the IH and Jack wagons (after pushing the Arafax wagon). I'm not sure why we aren't giving TS /Ether more scrutiny.
That is because STD is one lazy cat.

I'm scratching the surface of what to do next. I'm not going to start acting on that, just to let you know.

Love, STD.

Dear HackerHuck,

In your post, you said the following.

Sweet Stuff,

I know my alignment. So when TSS wrote in this post that he preferred to concentrate on a few other players, it struck me as very townish, because a scum would probably have gone along with the leading question that TSS was asked, and cast suspicion on me, because he knows I am a townie and I am just as good a target as any other townie. So I believe that TSS is not being opportunistic (or scummy) in the list of players he finds suspicious.

Hugs, your Strudel.

Something else is interesting. As I explained, I trust TSS for the time being.

He thinks that 2/3 of Sarc/Save/Status is scum.

STD thinks that Thok and HH are scum, neither of which is named by TSS.

Also, on my first read yesterday, STD appeared to me as the scummiest of the lot.

I am ready to vote against STD today.

ATM does not stand for Automatic Teller Machine and scratching the surface simply means I am sharping my claws, not using them to strike. Give me time and I will rend this game wide open. (yeah, I know TSS is laughing at me as I say this, but I will, I swear). Thok has made me realize that I jumped to conclusions too soon.

Even if you think TSS is pro-town, that doesn't make him right.

TSS, you've voted me, you've made vague allusions to the fact that Sarc is scum, you said ether could be scum, and now you vote StD. It seems a lot like you're trying to throw as much suspicion out as possible to see which of it sticks.

I'm starting to get a very bad feeling about things now. The way I see it, our setup has us at the equivalent of a newbie game. We know there is likely just a Queen and Princess left for the scum and the chance for a doc or a cop are still out there - we've only had a day doc (and a martyr) and a limited cop killed. We all know that the C9 setup favors scum and a miss today puts us at LYLO. Given all that, I want to throw a rather unorthodox thought out there.

I'm having a hard time getting a read on TSQ, since he replaced Bogre who pretty much did nothing all game. TSQ is a decent enough player that as scum he could probably avoid slipping up, which would put the town at a disadvantage at endgame. If we were to do a pre-emptive lynch on TSQ, that might hurt us if he's not scum, but it would also prevent him going to endgame where I see him getting a pass.

Thoughts?

Or we could just lynch you. Since, y'know, you're scum.

Basically, your "unorthodox thought" is that we lynch a player because he's good enough to not get caught as scum. Not because he's scummy, but because you think that he could theoretically be scum playing well. Since I'm pretty sure that applies to all but the very worst players on the site, I'm going to chock this up as another point in the "HackerHuck is obvious scum" column.

HH, what the hell? That post isn't even close to logical for several reasons.

1) You make the comment earlier of what a dire situation the town is in currently (7 alive, assuming 2 scum) You even MENTION the fact that a misslynch puts the town at lynch -1, and yet you want to waste one of the towns only 2 garenteed lynched on lynch of a person who you can't get a read on so you therefore have no idea if they are scum or not? Sounds good to me...

2) Even IF we're going on with your plan, assuming that the massive wholes in mafia strategy do not exist, I am not even close to the best player in this game. I would rate StD, Thok, and TSS all above me, at the very least. The fact that you focus on me when there are obviously better players in the game is odd. It's like you think I wont fight back as much.

pretty sure theres no way I could not
