Not quite THAT oldschool.

I do remember when Demonic Consultation was a junk rare and Squandered Resources and Cadaverous Bloom were junk too (contrary to popular belief, Necropotence was NEVER considered weak. All you had to do was cast the card to realize what you had. Although in a land of stasis and Winter Orb it's far less powerful than it should be)

When people find a way to stick a 2GR card in a deck with a 1UUU card because it's that good.

1UUU has to be Cryptic Command. 2GR might be BBE or Huntmaster?
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

All cards in the future should be named Steve. Also, wizards should ban any card not named Steve.

Modern is the second most interesting format, behind only Standard, Legacy, and Steve.

I mean heres the thing. Treasure cruise is warping the format for sure, but I'm not sure its warping the format in a bad way. BUG hasn't been a deck in forever, really. It's pretty cool TC makes it viable.

The past 26 games I've played in Modern 8-man/Daily/Tournament Practice rooms have had 23 against decks running Treasure Cruise. I'm currently debating figuring out a blue splash for Pod so I can run Remand out of spite.

RUG midrange was probably the best midrange deck pre-Khans and it ran Cryptic/Huntmaster.

In other news, I was wondering when someone was going to throw Siege Rhino is BGW in modern. Doesn't die to most hard removal(Path/Dismember/Pulse being the only ones I can think of), tramples over Souls and helps the matchup vs burn? Sign me up!

I think either Fate Reforged or the next set is going to have 1R Sorcery--Deal 5 damage to target creature.

PEDIT: I think BUG would be a deck still if they were forced to use Dig and not Treasure Cruise, Delver would probably play some number too. The only decks really hurt would probably be ascendancy combo and Burn.

Delver and Burn will have more presence on MTGO due to price issues, but, yeah.
