My reason for Majiffy was similar. More specifically, both Reino and Majiffy tried to make the people on the midget wagon look as scummy as possible.
The midget wagon wasn't really that suspicious in my opinion. At least not to the extent Reino made it out to be. How would the town on it have known someone would quick hammer.

This strikes me as someone jumping on what he/she thinks is an easy lynch, taking advantage of Anatole's confusion about the pregame choices.

I also don't think the two responses you gave were correct. As either alignment I'd choose not to say anything and see what people do. If I was to call you out on it, I'd be looking at explaining everything and calling you out directly, as opposed to playing dumb and being like, duh I don't know what you are doing here. Especially with his later posts making it look like he thought you scum slipped ... but deciding to let it go. It's a concern of mine.

Someone got in way over their head with thinking Anatole was an easy lynch and didn't expect for Krystal to announce that the whole stunt was a case of "reaction fishing". It would look bad to just unlynch, so instead aphix gives a flimsy reason on why he/she remains on the lynch.

The bolded is really interesting to me. Throw out a player who's playing scummy and is possibly a fellow mafia member (majiffy) as being town and cover it up by also naming and labeling a player who seems to be playing extremely town (flum) up to this point as town as well.
