Well a lot of the problem is also that you're basing this all on second-hand anecdotal evidence. I have no problem with meta arguments but going on one thing said by some guy who's played one game with reinoe is a recipe for catastrophe.

Pre-edit: She's objecting to the "passing it off" part, not the reaction-test part. Did you see my post saying it was sarcasm?

Ank seems pretty pro-town. He's interested in figuring out who the scum players are. I don't agree with Ank's vote on Clusk, but if Clusk posts his reads too and shows genuine interest in clearing out the scum then I think Ank will change his vote.

Alright. So right now, I'm not liking Krystal at all. This one is really striking me as very strange. One probably shouldn't aim to play differently every game. That means you are going to be a wild card every game and not useful. Either as town if your town or as scum if your scum. Consistency as both town and scum is really where the goal should be. Two even if someone is going to be playing differently there are going to be parts of them that are going to be the same, unless perhaps if they have some sort of mental disorder.

It just very much rubs me the wrong way. Combined with the "reaction test." Which I think is worded poorly if it was coming from a reaction test as town, and at this point would rather lean on it as a scum slip.

a) He's calling us scum for not playing "as we should". Which is bullshit.
b) He voted Anatole earlier for his reaction to my reaction test. Now he's turned around and is saying my reaction test was actually a scum slip, and is voting us for it.

Playing against your meta is different then choosing to play differently every game. Also, I like how you say that my use of the would aim is twisting it, aim being used as in there is a choice for the change, and then you what, next sentence defend yourself by stating they choose to change ... Trying to make my vote against you purely un game related.

Also, it's really common for people to see something they don't like and not immediately attack it. I still don't like Anatole's response. Doesn't mean that your initial "test" wasn't and still isn't complete and total crap.

it *is* twisting it because never was it said that there was a *motive* to play differently. he said ppl play different in each games (whether it be due to conscious meta changes, or just different ppl to interact with)

you are stating that it was said from this hydra that there is an "aim/motive" to play different, and USED that as part of the justification for your vote (which is not the case). that's what looks bad

I must have not made my point clear. It's different because you can't just make up what you meant later on. If you use that WIFOM originally, you're stuck with that. You can't just make up who said who later on well after the post was made.

I dunno what you expect me to say. Apparently everyone here thinks I'm the type of complete fucking moron who could miss the entire point of the setup as scum. I mean I regularly run super-complicated vanillaless games but I guess a PYPoisson is the snowflake that caused the avalanche.
