However, I'm just as confused as Kurigan. I'm town and I didn't get any PM saying to make your choices. I got confused and checked the wiki page and it says only mafia vote on the roles. This fact makes me quite suspicious of the Sisters and Krystal.

I just assumed they were asking what we would have chosen if we were scum, I see no downsides for everyone doing so as scum already knows what PRs are in. Perhaps I'm too used with setups like this one since i'm a fan of things like Stack the Deck and Pick your power X/Y

I would probably go 2-shot vig as they have the most chance of damaging town, and tracker as easy to CC as scum to take a townie down with them in a conf situation, or alternatively claim cop.
