I still like my vote on Albert. The N0 speculation is very odd and the claim obviously doesn't do much either.

This post from Hungry Joe was a kind of funny to me. I actually got the feeling that hungry Joe was doing something similar with BM, like coaching him a bit. Now that he's drawn some attention to himself, I notice that he's stayed with his vote. I'd wager that if BM turns up scum, HungryJoe is one too.

Take it that way if you like, it was just looking an awful lot like you and Albert were being a little odd to me, didn't seem right, I guess. Albert jumps onto whatever you're saying for little/no reason, and then you reprimand/FoS him. It just kinda looks like a good scum telling a bad scum "No! Get away!", I guess. And you're definitely not voteworthy, it's just something I feel is worth noting for later reference as a bit suspicious.

I also don't see what Jack is talking about regarding Guardian's recent post. His previous posts have been much scummier in my opinion. For instance, his defence of YB as noobtown and certainty that BM is scum. How can one

be certain of anything regarding BM? Not to mention he seems to discount BM's scumminess in the PBP and doesn't bother to unvote. His very next post also puts YB firmly in his top three scum.

I find the interactions between Glork and MBL to be a bit odd. I don't think I've played with Glork before, so I'm not sure what to make of his posting. MBL isn't acting like he has before as scum and actually seems pro-town to me, but I just don't have a good feeling about their "argument" so far. I do see MBL's point about TCS, but it's not enough for me to move my vote. One thing to note is that MBL's comment on the SV kill being odd assumes that there's no vig who feels the way he does...

By far, the scummiest interaction has been between TCS and Albert. Back on page six they just appear a little too chummy for not really having played much together before.

HackerHuck finally explained a reason to think I am scummy... Thank you for that. I now understand why Glork got "overdefensive"... One person's suspicions lead to another's, etc.

The reason my posts are inconsistent is because I am not sure of my suspicions at this point and while I mill it over during the day my mind changes on things.

I still think BM is as likely as anyone to be scum though. Albert and YB if I had to say one way or the other are town.

I'm just milling about looking for stuff to make hay over on Day One. Glork disagreed on a few points, I corrected him where appropriate, and I'm entirely unsure of his alignment. How's that odd?

Whilst I think Guardian scummy, I think his defense of YB is not so unfounded. I think it's possible that YB is just being n00by. Mind you, that says nothing about his alignment, I'm still watching him, but it doesn't seem enough.... yet.

Also, just so I know, as I've never played in a normal game, how many pages is day one, usually? I think about 20, right? I know it depends on the game, but still, just so I get a feel.

That is always possible. But then, Look at the Odds. One of them being Mason is a 1/20 chance. Both of them being Mason is a 1/40 chance. (Well Technically with Two players gone who were not Masons, The Chance is Now 1/18 for 1, and 1/36 for Both.) Even still, Its not far off, the way they are acting, and It could definetly be possible that they are the Masons.

Thread's kind of moved away from this earlier point by now, but I wanted to catch up and say the main reason you never claim townie is that townies are expendable. If you have no power, you lend your aid through a vote, but if you can't convince everyone, let yourself go.

Sure, it's not optimal, but it's day 1, do you really expect to get scum every time? Maybe you're all that much better than me, but...

Another thing is that while I do know most of the basic tells, I wonder if it's correct to assume that everyone knows the finer details about the differences between claiming townie/cop/doc/vig. That said, in this particular case, it's been mentioned that albert has played many games, so I figure this was either a goof or an intentionally bad move (as in, I'm always actting scummy, now please ignore it).

My vote will stand on albert for quite some time, unless some really awesome evidence comes along.

Why? It would be nice to know. If you keep your notes in the thread with us, Show us them, or show us the reasoning for your suspicions. Just accusing someone will not help your campaign. In fact, it makes it look.. not good.

Quite Frankly, Your two the three line posts do not help the town. I am not saying you are scum, But you aren't helping much. If all you can do is post small posts, then post more often! If someone were to look at this whole game and see how many posts you had in the time its been running, and how long on average each one is, It would be pretty small. Look at 243 and 245.
