Most of his posts seem pretty sound, although now that you mention it, this line seems kind of wierd.
Cavane wrote:Agreed. It's not an unreasonable question. On VitR's part, I mean. I'm not certain what the case on him is, myself.
Cavane: You really don't see what the case is against VitimanR/Phoebus? Have you re-read the whole game?, Because there have certanly been pleanty of solid points made against them.

Like I said when I came in, I scanned through a good portion of the earlier portions of the game. I went back and found PJ's case against him, however, so I'm more informed now on that point. I'm sure you'll understand that there was a lot of information to disgest coming into this thread when I did.

Ok Yos, you passed the test. Cavane's post that you quoted as being weird seems to qualify under the "Person C" argument that you were having earlier. I just wanted to make sure you were consistent with finding posts like that scummy.

Well, if you want to find the case against him, I personally was suspicious of Phoebus for most of the game, you can start by looking at many of my older posts. You might also want to take a look at some of the discussion yesterday when he was on my LOE, and at some of the discussion today after VitiminR's defense of Mnowax.

Hmmm...I guess you could consider it that, although I was mentally putting Cavane's post more in the "defending Vit. R" catagory rather then the "attacking PJ" catagory"

It would help if executions were swifter.

Says the person who has made about two posts with reasoning this entire game day.

Of your 12 posts today, TS, 6 of them have been you impatiently asking for the execution to happen already. 2 of the remaining 6 posts were you blindly following other peoples' votes without any reasoning of your own. And only 2 of those lone 4 actually contained reasoning relevant to the game. And we're not even talking about good reasoning, either. They contained at least an attempt at reasoning, perhaps more in some cases. You're not one to talk about needing swifter executions. If everyone in the game acted like you, TS, the King would have no information as to who might actually be scum, because there'd be no good reasoning behind the votes made each day.

98 pages, still 16 players.

The king still doesn't know who to execute, despite the valiant and commendable efforts of players other than myself.

CULL THE BLOODY HERD!!!

Agreed. Saying "just execute someone" over and over without helping the king figure out WHO to execute is incredibly anti-town behavior. "faster executions" are irrelevent; what the game needs is for people to ACTUALLY TRY AND PLAY THE GAME. 96 pages of "I don't care, let's just kill someone" is abosultly useless.

Well, executions make discussion points. Besides, kings should be the ones waving with their scepters and should stir up discussion against the people he/she suspects. I'm not seeing the king do that at the moment.

I've got to admit that as much as I'd like a well thought out, reasoned and analysed execution, I also just want an execution. We've all had plenty of time to say everything we want.

Well said. We have some very clever players (I am not clever) that take the time to write beautiful stuff. However, since we again lack leadership, these discussions are occurring in a vacuum, as if we were sailing a boat with no captain and no destination.

Indeed. I also want an execution. However, the fact that NOW is the right time to be calling for an execution doesn't cover the fact that Toaster Strudel has been impatient all day, calling for one 5 OTHER times throughout the day.
That
sort of behavior is unacceptable. Just because an execution is needed now does not excuse him from his earlier actions when it was unappropriate to call for an execution.
