I understand that abom is a scummy mcscum, as I've said before; but the thing about bulba that gives me the creeps is that after prodding him for a claim before I shoot him - he ignored it actively. I mean, he responded with 'not claiming'. why would a townie not claim in such a situation?

Why would anyone? I don't see that as a brilliant scum move either. It's a 'up yers' move if anything, and that can come from either alignment.
