Daaaaaamn...I got held up with other stuff, and I come back now only to find that in more than 24 hours, nobody's posted at all? (Maybe it's a usual occurrence, but I was hoping I'd have something else to which I could respond...)

Post 17 (game thread, mind, not his 17th post): After looking at it again, he didn't ask if Net was the cop; he asked if he WASN'T. Not that that changes much, though, because that still feels really fishy...roleguessing on the first page. (Though the fact that cop is a relatively common role makes it slightly less suspiscious...)

Posts 61 and 62: Reexamination on my part reveals not power role hunting, but more of a roleguessing spirit. See my feelings about 17. However, the posting of the Wiki entry on Net a mere minute later still doesn't sit well with me. Smells like attention diverson.

Post 69 - Rampage's comment about laying low struck me as odd. Also,
Post 69 - Rampage wrote:3. I think that voting for me, while not an unreasonable action given the circumstances, is a mistake. I firmly believe I will be useful if I stay connected to the server.
That's a pretty scummy assertion. And a funny one to make when Nocmen and Net were the only ones voting for you. If you wanna claim, then claim; if you don't, then don't mention your role.

Post 88 - Now that I look at it, just going by Net's "someone watching over us" post didn't really make it seem like he was referring to himself as a doc, though it wasn't exactly "PAINFULLY clear." Also, I believe the possibility of him being doc wouldn't have been brought up if Rampage didn't roleguess right there.

Post 99 - The vote bargaining is EXTREMELY odd. I don't know whether I attribute this to town or scum, though, so I'll leave this point alone...for now.

Posts 135-137: Roleguessing again. The question posed to VanDamien: I feel it was a reasonable one at first, and that VanDamien gave a reasonable (albeit intriguing) answer. However, Rampage pushed for a simpler answer than the one given (false dilemma/excluded middle, anyone?)...post 143 does not allay any bad vibes from these posts.

I didn't catch much noteworthy in the arguments between VD, Rampage, and Nocmen that hasn't already been brought up. But the roleguessing, the bits of craplogic, and the vague hinting at his role are making me keep my vote on Rampage.

Notes I gathered on other players:

Nocmen: It appears to me that Nocmen is the one that actually started the rolehunt (post 66). My faith in his current doc claim is down a bit.

TonyMontana: He seems to be posting sparsely and cotributing little.
FoS: TonyMontana
I'd like to see what you think of everyone else so far.

DYH: It's been a few days now; could you please answer my question?

I'm really sorry I've appeared as if I was role-hunting, I really wasn't. I didn't want to help scum kill power roles like I did. If anything, all I originally wanted was clarification, even tough it might ultimately have been bad for the town. I've learned from those mistakes, and I won't repeat them.

The vote bargaining was to create discussion, and somehow trap Nocmen in making a scummy play(eg: unvote and fos me, then going with whatever popular vote was at the time)

The semi-claim was a botched attempt of discouraging votes against me, which was a bad play, now I realize that after completing a few games.

Yeah, all in all, I've made some bad plays and some bad guesses, and I am determined to make it up to the town and redeem myself by re-analyzing every possible scenario and do my best to catch the scum.

Side-note: I never like people who sheepishly vote and then vanish.

Rampage: You are slightly less suspicious in my eyes, but I'm not ready to move my vote yet.

TonyMontana: You've increased my suspicion of you, but I will not make a decision about voting you or not until I've seen what you've got.

Everyone else: For the love of your mothers, please post!!!

So far, I'm slightly more suspicious of Tony than Albert, but, nothing huge enough to make me want to vote for either.

As for nocmen, I'm inclined to believe him right now, if he really is the backup doc, it would be a big mistake to lynch him, and I haven't seen anything that makes me want to vote for him.

I really don't like going with assumptions based on play style. Same reason I don't incorporate plays used in other games, they almost never work.

Could you possibly elaborate on this, DYH? (Specifically, the statement regarding the SK.)
Sure, sorry for my absence, I was busy over the holiday weekend and haven't been online.

There are 8 people left. If we mislynch today, we have 7 left into night, 2 kills without crossfire would leave 5. I'm assuming 2 scum and 1 SK here. In order to get a majority lynch during the day, the SK has to vote with the town.

Vote: ABR
Should've stuck with this yesterday.

I don't see what's wrong with metagaming, if ABR is acting differently, it's definatly something to look into.

I'd be happy to share some feelings on others as well, but right now i have to sleep, followed by work.
If your just leeching off Haut Boy's explanations, then here we go:

Post 17 - Haut Boy says I'm not role-hunting, only role-guessing.

Post 61 and 62 - Again he is defending I'm not role-hunting.

Post 69 - He says I'm odd.

Also, the reason why I said that was partly to discourage votes, partly because if I die it will make it easier for the scum to win.

Post 88 - Even tough it might not have been brought up, the mafia would already have their night target. I wasn't the only one to pick up on that, and it wouldn't have made a difference.

Post 99 - He says I'm odd again.

Post 135-137 - Okay, this is probably the most important point, to which I'll have to respond.

The reason I tried to squeeze information out of him, was to force the person I thought was scum to perhaps make a botched claim or slip and get lynched. It only appears as if I made a scummy move because he turned out to be town, but I had no way of knowing that. Also, bear in mind that exchange was fruitless and we didn't learn anything.

So in conclusion, my play is just a bit wild, going with what Occult has been saying is my playstyle anyway. I don't think I deserve to be lynched like this, especially before the replacements become available.

I don't trust Albert fully, but I also don't want to lynch him right now. There are right now 8 of us alive. Worse case says there are 3 scum and 1 SK (numbers normal I've seen in minis), and we mislynch. 3 Scum, 1 SK, 3 Town left. If both hit tonight, we go down to 1 Town, 3 Scum, 1 SK, and we lose.

As for why I haven't voted you, look at the bolded sentence.

I do care, but shit happens and sometimes I don't get to posting in a game or two.

Al, first you find me scummy for suspecting you and now I'm scummy because I'm not voting you?

I'm not voting yet because just getting rid of you doesn't help. I would like to get more information out of the situation before we move on.

What does everyone think of a claim? Right now, I'm against it until we've gotten all the discussion we can out of it.
