i reccommend all players read the posts by Cephrir at the end of Day 1. There is nothing to indicate that he suspected anyone other than me-who he went after with all his enthusiasm. I see no reason to suspect that Cephrir-Vig would kill anyone other than me, and as he claims to have killed TS (who was killed by the scum) we know this is not the case.
Is it a coincidence that he claimed to have killed the same guy as the scum, in order to fit in with the rest of the play?
i seriously doubt it.

Her posts in general seemed pretty baseless, and while I realize that seems hypocritical that doesn't make it any less scummy. This was the post that convinced me:
TS wrote:Cephrir and livingod head to head. Let's watch the next vote carefully.
I hadn't suspected TS during the day, but that was because I reviewed players in preparation for sending in my night action, not during the day.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure BMscum just realized he is a pretty likely target for me if I make it to tonight.

actually i hadnt considered that, but its a good point all the same. Even as protown, it would be detrimental for you to be allowed to survive another night. :o

Dude, if he's willing to kill battlemage for us, perhaps we can let Cephrir live another night. ;)

Seriously, I'm not sure which one of the two is scummier at this point. I'm still not buying Cephrir's claim of his actions, but eh, BM is just pushing all my wrong buttons.

No, this was far too late for any defending of scumbuddies. If Cephrir is scum, I'd actually say it's less likely that Yossy is scum as well.

hmm isnt Yos a Tribune?
in which case his defence of Cephrir counts for something, as theoretically he could defend Cephrir for the entire day, and we would learn nothing about either of them until tomorrow.

Not really. Tribune or not, if Yos was Cephrir's scumbuddy, it's way too late to defend him. He can't veto the execution, because there's no good reason to. His comment had nothing to do with defending Cephrir. You're just overanxious because he supported killing you, and of course, anyone who wants to kill Battle Mage is probably scum, right?

I don't really see this getting vetoed. After all, I deserve it for playing inconsistantly, and lurking, and all that jazz. Sorry, town.

Nope. I already said I wasn't going to veto this, and I'm not. Cephrir's claimed actions just don't make any sense. The only thing that was giving me qualms was BM's behavior, but that's not enough to counter the logical arguments against Cephrir. No veto.

I don't see why "easily confimable role" fails to persuade anyone though. Why does it matter if I'm a mafiate trying to live an extra day? I'd just be executed tomorrow. As I'm writing this post, it occurs to me how scummy it sounds, but I'm so dead it doesn't really matter. Feel free to execute BM when I turn up town.

Because having you kill another (possibly protown) person just to prove your own innocence (and it wouldn't prove you innocent, just that you could be an SK or a Vig) doesn't really help.

I'm truely sorry I've been absolutely useless this day. It's just my luck to have my exam period coincide right on top of when I get the tribune position. It's just finished a few days ago, (and after few partyings) I'm now back for properly.

I'm on same reasoning MoS here. Too much cons than pros. No veto from me.

The crowd cheered as Felinus Maximus strode forward once again. They still remembered the first execution he ordered and they all believed he could repeat it.

He pulled the tiger fur tight around his shoulder and waited. The plaza drew silent.

“Citizens!” He bellowed. The people of Rome chanted his name.

Behind him, a man stood in thought. He glared at Felinus, with eyes of flame, and burbled something to himself. He had the badge of a Consul on his shoulders. He was Consul Shanba Morsvacca.

“Felinus,” he whispered, “stop playing the crowd. We don't need their support.” He whiffled his nose.

“I really don't trust you.”

Felinus ignored him, smiling at the people in front of him, enjoying their confidence.

Suddenly, he grew serious and motioned a group of soldiers to bring a man in one of the first rows to the stage.

The man was made to kneel in front of him and Felinus immediately shouted at him. “Who are you really, young general? You're a Carthiganian, aren't you?”

The figure looked at him unflinchingly, a stern, powerful gaze behind his features. “I fight only for Rome.”

Felinus snorted. He turned his back to the man and calmly stated his conclusion. “He's a traitor.”

Shanba stared at Felinus, who ignored him. Finally, a tribune stirred. “Consul Morsvacca?”

Shanba seemed not to have heard him, but nodded eventually. The tribune responded eagerly. “We too have no objections. We have complete trust in Felinus.”

Two soldiers seized the general, who bowed his head gravely. A blade went through and through, and the man slumped lifelessly onto the wooden stage.
