Pheobus has been lurking in plain sight for some time now. When you look back at his posts, you see him attack aude on the NO Lynch point way past its relevant, then when I call him on it he became pretty defensive IMO. Since then he's had about 2 useful posts (both still talking about the NL) and about 5-10 useless 1 sentance or even one word posts with absolutely no use, or no relevance.

This is day one. I have said all I have to say because there are no other stimuli for me to react to other than Yesterday and Aude Omnia.

urgh... this game is very frustrating for me. People keep disappearing without warning and noone seems to really be playing the game with the exception of a few. As it is at the moment with half the town not responding we'll be lucky to lynch anyone at deadline and even if we do we'll have almost no information on some people come tomorrow.

I feel as if Pheobus's lurking in plain sight is the best lead we're going to get. I think we need to at least lynch someone, and if we're going to, pheobus is probably our best bet.

Pheobus: theres a difference between lurking and lurking in plain sight. lurking is not posting. lurking is posting, but nothing of value to the game. I feel that lurking in plain sight is a much scummier thing to do then lurking.

Now unlike some of half the players, I have not given up. This is the most important day for the town. For all of the players who have given up and stopped posting, you should be ashamed of yourselves. This is a game that you all committed too, and you should honor that commitment. Now yesterdays, you may be not interested in this game, but that is no reason to vote yourself. Ask for a replacement at the most. If you are the vampire this is a good strategy.

Now, lurking in plain sight is horribly scummy, and we really need the day to get moving. If we end the day, and if phoebus is not the vampire, then I hope that more people become active. With that being said,

Right. I have a little more motivation now, and ater reading yesterday's latest post I don't get a scum feel from it, I get a bored townie feel from it. My opinion has been unequivocally clear.

I am

lurking in plain sight, I have said all that I have needed to say.

1) I voted Yesterdays for reasons already outlined.
2) I voted Aude Omnia for his insistence on voting no lynch. While his explanations behind his actions were decent enough, I have mentioned that we might as well make use of a chance of catching the vamp on day 1. If that is not successful, then we can look for connections later, which will appear regardless as people get recruited.
I told Aude to stick to his guns, as I did to mine in voting yesterdays.

Consistency is the key. It avoids people from getting manipulated.


Given the amount of lurking in this game, there has been

absolutely

no one

else

on whom to focus.

Given the fact that I have already stated my opinions on Aude and Yestedays (and I'm repeating myself here) who are my

If we didn't know this game started with one scum, I'd say Snichkin was your mate for falling in line (again) so quickly. In fact, I would almost rather vote Snichkin over Elias, except for the fact that Snichkin had pointed fingers at me earlier with the same pathetic excuse but he has been around and not dropped off, only to come back with ridiculous accusations.

Part One of the Pheobus Case:

Pheobus's last five posts before I called him on lurking in plain sight. In case you dont know pheobus, there is a difference between regular lurking and lurking in plain sight. Lurking in plain sight is being active, but not posting anything of content. I think you fit the bill.

and if the active people have already spoken their mind, where do we get new stuff from?

I don't think enough people realize that if we mislynch, that's 2 townsfolk lost-- 1 to death and 1 to the vampire.

I find this point appealing but I would still rather take a chance on getting the scumlynch and a day 1 victory.

If that doesn't work, there are always connections to work on.

I will not switch back to aude yet since his reasoning is slightly appealing but his insistence is rather appalling. In my view, it does not help that he was willing to to vote someone else and then switched back.
With such (apparently) well thought out rules, I'd stick to my guns about a NL in your place. In the same way, I am sticking against a NL at this time.

Adding to what Elias said - we still need to find only the leader. The main post seems to suggest that catching him is the key as all others might die with him.
Since vampires seem to be used as cult with a mafia flavour, this is true of a fair number of cults. Get the leader, destroy the cult.

So lynch today - if it's the leader. Game over. Excellent.
Tomorrow, look for weird behaviour. Defensiveness and even if we find one converted vampire, his reactions and playing off other players should give us clues towards who the head honcho is.

This is pretty short. Youve only voted for two people (excluding random voting) and youve hopped back and forth between them about 3 times. Kind of suspicious.

Your attack on me is completely dumb. First, you claim that you have reasons for your votes that you already outlined. The most youve come up with in terms of reasons are "i dont like his posts" and "no lynch is bad".

Then you go on to say that aude and Yesterdays are your only suspects. This is dumb. Why would any protown player only focus on two players, on day 1? A protown player would keep his eyes open to all players.

The next parts my favorite. You claim Im a hypocrit for calling you a plain-sight-lurker, because Ive been doing the same thing. You dont seem to grasp what Im accusing you of. Im not accusing you of not posting, Im accusing you of contentless posting. Im not using your presence to persecute you, Im using your lack of content to oust you.

"what else to say" section:

first, if youve been around, why havent you been posting more than a sentance?
Second, you have been voting. On and off for the same two people all game. That makes me more suspicious, not less.
Third, You have aired suspicions, but your reasons are nearly nonexistent, or vague to the point that no one understands them exactly.
