Due to issues in the chat recently, some changes have been made.

Users can no longer add people to the chat themselves, only admins of the chat can.

Current admins of the chat are myself, Fenchurch, Shadoweh, CDB, and Faraday. Please message one of us to be added. Thanks!

Sorry, I've been away for a couple of days so I'm a bit behind!

Yeah admin list in the first post would make sense. And I made one of these:

My opinion is that the new 'moderated access' thing may be a bit overkill - I don't really feel the need to 'vet' potential joinees and I wouldn't know how to begin doing so. Besides, I don't think we've really had people joining who aren't connected to mafiascum in some way or another, so by what criteria would someone be denied access? If a scummer has a friend who is interested in skype mafia I've always been happy for them to play.

That said, I do agree that it was antisocial for some people to say "we're not interested in mafia and so you guys should go make another chat room, we want to use this one for our personal stuff, all day every day", in response to multiple others saying "hey, please be less spammy", and so those people probably should make a personal chat (forcibly if necessary)? Which I guess is what happened?
