There was a single mason in Sanity Mafia as well. He thought he was a mason with someone else, but he was insane. (Of course, petroleumjelly had the role and played it perfectly, knowing he couldn't trust his partner to be innocent.)

OMG! There's a bomb in your cake! It'll blow up if you target a particular role, so watch out. But I'm feeling mean, so you don't get to find out what your role's effect is. You must send me a target every day. You win if you're among the townies to be last alive, or if 12 other townsfolk win.

It's in a role with a cult. If they're in the cult, they die. If they're not in the cult, nothing happens.

But (usually) the only defining feature of Lovers is that they can win together separately from their usual win condition. So the Jester could just ignore that part, and play as Neutral/Survivor...

Actually, I had a similar role in a game:

Ninjas don't fight for honor and justice. They fight to whack people's heads off. But you like head-whacking

But (usually) the only defining feature of Lovers is that they can win together separately from their usual win condition.

And that if one dies, the other commits suicide the following night, hence the bastardliness of making one a jester and one a survivor. Makes it very hard to win as a survivor if you must keep your jester lover from getting lynched.

The jester/lover has a greater chance of winning if they get lynched, since there are more lynchees than endgame survivors. Thus it would be wise for the jester to get lynched. Maybe the lovers can break up??

No joking, I did a ghost in a game. There were 20 players, but actually secretly 21... The ghost vote showed up in the vote count but he couldnt ever post. I had to find a player willing to play like that before adding it to the setup. It was part of my best setup IHMO

Not really a bad role, but the same set up also included cops with these sanities:

Drunken Cop:

Sane on odd numbered nights, insane on even numbered ones.

Unstable Cop:

Neive on odd numbered nights, paranoid on even numbered nights.

Cloudy Cop

Gets correct results 75% of the time, but incorrect results 25% of the time.

Rather interesting. Not sure if they belong in this thread though.
