Personally, I think that if Mr. Green is an FBI agent in any of the other games, then he isn't in this one.

Your alignment in one game does not determine your alignment in another.

For all I know, it was your intention to sacrifice yourself in that game in the hopes of getting a free pass in this one.

I unvoted because Jack claimed a cop role. I asked for a counterclaim. If there is one, then I am
more
than willing to jump back on. If there is not, then we need to be voting elsewhere. I did not believe his claim in Game One, and, to be honest, I'm tired of these games lagging so much. At least the speedlynch will generate discussion.

Minor FoS: Battle Mage
. Pressure votes are not usually his style. IIRC almost every vote he's ever cast has been random or accompanied with an "OMG THIS GUY IS SCUM YOU IDIOTS" kind of message. A "pressure vote" from him is highly irregular.

I guess it's easy to accuse the only two people posting on a regular basis of being in league with each other somehow. If anything the fact that we're willing to talk when everyone else is clamming up makes us more protown. I can't speak to the content of Billy's role pms, but mine are uniformly town-aligned.

But lynching lurkers is still a valid metagame ploy... even knowing that, many scum still do, and it also motivates the town to talk more in general.

This is a post generally indicative of lazy scum:
DragonsofSummer wrote:I have no idea what is going on. If these games were really developing at all I would have a reason to post. As it is I don't really see anything worth while that has happened, and imo BM is just being BM and not more scummy than usual yet.
And mainly I just wanted to see your response to it... or get you to post at all. That you would find it necessary to throw it back in my face is noted. IGMEOY.

That being said, I don't think you're a good lynch today. I still think we should lynch BM.

I'll reassess my position in this game, and I will only vote BM if I believe him to be the proper candidate, not simply because he's Battle Mage.

Ok, my new policy is to absolutely ignore Battle Mage unless he does something out of the ordinary. Acting scummy, making unfounded accusations, extrapolating things no one else would extrapolate, OMGUSing, and claiming on day one will all be considered ordinary activity.

Dragons of Summer is providing zero content for this game. None. Nada. Bupkiss. At least I'm making you think I'm all scum. That's worthless of me, but I'd rather have a game with 15 Battle Mages than 15 lurkers.

All right, now that I've outed myself in Clue 1, I can tell you why I'm going to
Accuse: Jack
. In the other game, I am Wadsworth, FBI Agent, and my role is Cop, not Roleblocker. I don't think his flavor claim makes sense.

I think it would be better to lynch someone who is actually doing something scummy. My behavior in this game is absolutely consistent with TCS-town. I like to build wagons and I like to lay down hammers. That part of the game is fun to me. Right now I'm suspicious of
everyone
in this game, so I doubt how much I can really help you.

What TCS' post #100 actually means wrote:DoS, it's scummy to ask someone voting for you why they think you are scum. At least I got you to post. The fact that you brought up
me
in your post is noted. But, all in all I don't think your a great lynch today, mostly because today is the deadline and I have 4 votes on me and BM only has 3, so I am going to unaccuse you and accuse BM to save my own arse.
From your reaction to the lynch in Clue 2 I think you are scum in at least 1 of these other games, and you seem town in Clue 1; top that off with post #100 and the obvious lynch avoidance tactic earns you my vote.
Dredging up the past a bit, I really don't like this post. Post 100 was my obvious frustration with Battle Mage. I'm in at least five games with him at the moment, and I was having a bad day for tolerating his nonsensical accusations and extrapolations. Furthermore, I think your reason for voting me is
really
weak. You're claiming my behavior in another game affects my behavior in this one. It doesn't. I've been pushing hard in the Clue games for the same reason I push in
any
game--the day is dragging and no one else has taken an active role in hunting out scum.

If you can point to what specifically about my "reaction" to my lynch in Clue 2 leads you to believe I'm scum in another game, I would appreciate it.

I have a question on strategy. When I get close to lynch, am I just supposed to shut up, stop talking, and cease scumhunting, all in order to make it seem less like I'm trying to "derail my own lynch"? I think this would be a useless play, personally. So characterizing my play to this point as an attempt to "derail" is not productive. Everyone tries to derail their own lynch, scum or town, and trying to paint it as an obvious scum play is frankly weak as hell.

Yeah, that's correct. My general plan was to appear just scummy enough that the scum would keep me around, and just townie enough that I wouldn't get lynched, and not kill until the final night. Oh well.

I still think I could have turned you all around if I hadn't been forced to claim by the deadline. I thought about claiming some "flying eyeball with lazer beams shooting out its ass" role, but decided not to.
