Rules

(blatantly stolen and altered from bloojay who stole them from discer who stole them from Werebear who stole them from Meme)

1. "Nights" will last as long as I need them to. The deadline will be posted. If you need an extension, just tell me, I might need one someday myself.

2. "Days" will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose a deadline. If discussion picks up, the deadline will be rescinded. Aren't I the nice one??? (the correct answer is... NO)

3. Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. If you are not counted, you do not exist.

4. Unvotes must proceed new votes. If you do not unvote before voting, you are still voting for the previous person. If you are still voting for the previous person, they may become dead.

5. Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life. At deadline, the first player to have reached at least half majority (assuming there is a tie) will constitute a lynch. Otherwise, there will be no lynch.

6. No lynches are allowed, they require the same votes as a lynch.

7. The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so. You button your lip, or I button it for you.

8. Once your death scene has been posted, unless you're not dead, you’re dead. You will be told if you're not dead. Once your dead please DO NOT POST until the game is over. I will allow one "BAH!" post, as long as it contains no pertinent information.

9. Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. No matter what stupid thing you've done. Why can't you just THINK? I mean, come on!

10. Don’t quote any PMs or e-mails from me, lest I kill you.

11. If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. If you miss a deadline, a random choice will be made. This usually involves you being very unhappy.

12. If you're going to be gone any amount of time, let everyone know.

13. The mod is god. Any mistakes such as inaccurate vote counts are obviously YOUR mistake. Please point out your mistakes so I can correct them. And if I ask you to eat play-doh, you say "WHAT COLOR, MOD!?". Sacrifices of small woodland animals accepted.

Note: Clue Mafia consists of three separate games with different setups run simultaneously, to reflect that there were three different endings to the Clue movie. However, remember that the setups do not necessarily reflect the endings used in the movie.

A man is standing by the front door, being growled at by the dogs. He is not comfortable. Wadsworth opens the door to greet him.

Wadsworth: "Good evening."

Man: "Good evening. I don't know if..."

Wadsworth: "Yes, indeed, sir, you are expected, Colonel. May I take your coat? It is Colonel Mustard, isn't it?"

Colonel Mustard: "No, that's not my name. My name is Colonel..."

Wadsworth: "Pardon me, sir, but tonight you may well feel obliged to my employer for the use of an alias."

The pair starts across the hall.

Colonel Mustard: "And who are you, sir?"

Wadsworth: "I'm Wadsworth, sir. The butler."

They enter the library, where Yvette is waiting.

Wadsworth: "Yvette, will you attend to the Colonel and give him anything he requires. *glances at them* Within reason, that is."

Wadsworth exits, closing the doors behind him. The doors have books on the back of them, and so look like a part of the wall.

Colonel Mustard: "Oh, Wadsworth, I was..."

Colonel Mustard turns to discover the doors have disappeared!

The bell rings.

A woman dressed in black stands there. Wadsworth opens the door.

Wadsworth: "Do come in, madam. You are expected."

Woman: "Do you know who I am?"

Wadsworth: "Only that you are to be known as Mrs. White."

Mrs. White: "Yes, it said so in the letter. But, why . . . ?"

Wadsworth removes her coat, with a brilliantly Mrs. White inside. Mrs. White sniffs and checks her shoe.

Colonel Mustard is sipping Cognac and glancing at Yvette. The doors open, the left one into Colonel Mustard.

Wadsworth: "Ah. May I introduce you? Mrs. White, this is Yvette, the maid." (The two women react with disgust) "I see you know each other."

Mrs. White turns away as Colonel Mustard emerges from behind the door.

Mrs. White: "Hello."

Colonel Mustard: "Hello."

A slim woman is standing by her broken down car. An owl can be heard. She hits the car, obviously frustrated. Thunder roars in the distance. The woman sees headlights a short way away. She smoothes her dress. As the car nears, she bends over the engine and lifts a leg. The car screeches to a halt just past her and backs up. The woman goes to the car and peers in.

Man's Voice: "Want a lift?"

Woman: (sultry) "Yes, please..."

She gets in.

Woman: "Thanks. I'm late for a dinner date."

Man: "Me too. Where are you going?"

The woman pulls out a sheet of paper.

Woman: (looking at paper) "Let's see . . . Hill House. Off Route 41."

Man: "Wait a minute. Let me look at that." (takes paper) "That's where I'm going. I got a letter like this."

They both look disturbed. The rain has started. The windshield wipers start as the car pulls away.

We see a middle aged woman standing in the doorway to the Library.

Wadsworth: "And this is Mrs. Peacock."

Colonel Mustard: "How do you do?"

Mrs. White: "Hello."

Wadsworth: "Yvette, will you go and check that dinner will be ready as soon as all the guests have arrived?"

Yvette nods. Mrs. Peacock stares disapprovingly at Yvette's exposed cleavage. Yvette exits the library.

The doorbell rings.

It is now raining quite hard. A man is standing at the door, much like Col. Colonel Mustard was. The dogs, of course, are growling. Wadsworth opens the door.

Man: "Is this the right address to meet Mr. Boddy?"

Wadsworth: "Oh, you must be Mr. Green."

Mr. Green: "Yes..."

Wadsworth: (to dogs) "Sit!"

Mr. Green frantically sits on a bench by the door.

Wadsworth: "No. Not you, sir."

Mr. Green sheepishly gets up and enters the house.

Back in the other car...

Woman: "It should be just off there."

Man: "That must be it."

Lightning crashes, illuminating the house.

Woman: "Why is the car stopped?"

Man: "It's frightened."

The car is started again and it eases up the driveway.

Back inside...

Lightning crashes, making Mr. Green gulp.

The man and woman exit their car and run for the front door. The man shields the woman from the now heavy rain.

Man: "What a godforsaken place!"

He gropes the woman as they wait by the front door. She shakes his hand off, looking disgusted. The door opens, revealing Wadsworth.

Wadsworth: "Professor Plum! And Miss Scarlet. I didn't realize you were acquainted."

Miss Scarlet: (glancing at Professor Plum) "We weren't."

They enter the house. The doors to the library open to reveal Professor Plum and Miss Scarlet.

Wadsworth: "May I present Professor Plum...and Miss Scarlet."

Nods all around.

Professor Plum and Miss Scarlet receive wine glasses from Yvette, whom Professor Plum eyes. Professor Plum clinks glasses with Miss Scarlet, who looks annoyed.

Wadsworth: "Of course, since you've each been addressed by a pseudonym, you'll have realized that nobody here is being addressed by their real name."

The guests glance around suspiciously.

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to remove someone from the mansion.

Let Day 1 begin!
