Worst role ideas?

Roles like that are a great idea if you don't really want to come up with a setup.

As a matter of fact, I believe the game was called Lazy Mod Mafia.

The role ended up making two mafia famillies, an SK, a cult, a mason group, a doc, four cops of differant sanities, a vig.... you get the idea.

Here's another:

You are the Masonic Lyncher-Jester. You are a mason with ______. He thinks you to be good. What he dosn't know is, you are anti-town. You win by getting him lynched and then being lynched yourself, or getting yourself lynched and getting him lynched. This Victory condition ends the game.

And both masons were given that role.

i tried to do that once - iambic heptameter, not pentameter, rhyming, natural line breaks, and acting as a relevant narration of the events to date, mderating a game.

my english was, sadly, not good enough and i dumped the gimmick early on.

oh, and you want a bastard role? doctor variant, the person you protect each night is the person you were voting at the end of that day.

The Politician:

I love the role cheese.

Once, I played a game where everyone was a one man scum machine, no nights. We killed someone and we all though we had won. Hilarious.

How bout - Role claimer: You win by claiming, you aren't allowed to claim anything.

JFK - Goes with two cops, both paranoid, and a tracker who thinks everyone targeted JFK. You win if you get a man on the moon by the end of the decade.

It might have already existed, anyhow. I used it in Homer Mafia (as the Beer Baron), I think it is a good variation on mafia RB. they have a chance to mess with the town, but it could also backfire on the mafia.
