yes, yes, no, at least one rare or better (possible to get multiple rares or even multiple legendaries, I've gotten the latter), because you're bad :3If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

I've seen screenshots of packs where the person got the same card 3 or 4 times in one pack.Ski mask? Check! Sawed off? Check! Guilty conscience, fear of death? Check! Check! Check!

There's 2 or 3 common types of warlock decks:In post 424, AngryPidgeon wrote:Why do I always lose to warlock decks?
Zoo is a bunch of little dudes played early that can take you out by turn 4 or 5 if you don't deal with them. You need lots of dudes or good removal to win against it.
Handlock is a warlock that doesn't do anything (or only life taps) for the first few turns and then plays big dudes that are dependent on size of hand to be big. You want to anticipate the big dudes with good removal, and/or have early pressure to take him out before his dudes get too threatening.
Murloc Warloc is where you try not to cry, and then cry a lot.
Anyway, Pie wants me to post the mage arena deck I just got:
Spoiler: Witty Deck Title Here
anyone want to place bets on how far it goes? (For skill reference, I'm rank 12-13 and Pie is helping me and is rank 10)-

12-0 is a perfect run?
I could see that deck ripping off 7-8 wins with little to no problems. 9+ is possible, but depends heavily on draws and shit.Ski mask? Check! Sawed off? Check! Guilty conscience, fear of death? Check! Check! Check!

ended up 6-3, had really bad draws vs. all the mage decks (had a bit of a hard time in the early game and every mage I faced was very aggro = not a good combination)
Spoiler: .
I got a butt-ton of dust, a decent chunk of gold, and a pack with a dust devil and my second Kodo in it, so I'm happy I guess. We could have done better if we weren't both so tired, but eh-

Still a pretty sweet run. Bad draws can literally tank the shit out of a good deck, which is what frustrates me to no end about arena.Ski mask? Check! Sawed off? Check! Guilty conscience, fear of death? Check! Check! Check!

Yeah. I've only just started doing arena again for that reason, and because I like constructed play slightly better. I played one right when we started, went like 3-3, and then didn't want to play again because I was worried about not getting my gold's worth out of the runs if I did badly. So I just bought packs with the gold for a while until I had two or three solid constructed decks to play around with, and now that I've got more experience with the game and understand all the cards a little better it's back to arena.
As for constructed, I've now got a decent budget aggro mage, midrange hunter, and a very silly priest deck that has literally made every rogue and pally I've played ragequit, but huddles in a corner and cries vs every brand of warlock. Kind of worth it to counter-troll the people playing miracle rogue in the casual queue, though.-

The gem in the middle is the rarity. In post 424, AngryPidgeon wrote:Does anyone know how the packs work? I have no idea if there is any concept of rarity in this game (Im sure there is).
Grey (Common) < Blue (Rare) < Purple (Epic) < Orange (Legendary)
A card becoming a Golden card is determined separately from these rarities.
Yes but you wouldn't be able to use more than the first two; I personally d/e extras on sight, but some people wait till the cards in question get modified so they can get their full dust cost from disenchantment. In post 424, AngryPidgeon wrote:Is it possible to get more than 2 copies of a card (which would be useless)?
Elite Tauren Chieftain and Gelbin Mekkatorque (gold versions are no longer obtainable)In post 424, AngryPidgeon wrote:Can some cards only be acquired through crafting?
At least one rare+ per pack.In post 424, AngryPidgeon wrote:Do pack distributions guarantee a certain amount of rarities per pack?
Because Warlock is OP.In post 424, AngryPidgeon wrote:Why do I always lose to warlock decks?
They're beatable, they're just really difficult if you don't have a pretty good card pool to work with. Are you ready for this?-

That feel when a mage turn 6, 7 and 8 flamestrikes your board in arena and you still win.
Then you run into similar op decks that way ourdraw you at 10 wins.

Was playing Paladin. I had a super strong deck.
Oddly enough two of my losses that run were to other paladins who just drew better *shrug*ShowRumpelstiltskin Grinder

Control Hunter is a hell of a lot of fun. Sadly I lack Baron Geddon and Ragnaros, or any good alternatives
Spoiler: CIRCUS OF VALUE
So much synergy...
Wild Pyromancer + Acolyte of Pain (+ Loot Hoarder for instant card draw in a pinch?)
Wild Pyromancer + Hunter's Mark
Hunter's Mark + Elven Archer
Azure Drake + Traps/Arcane Shot
Has a solid game against Miracle Rogue, too. Running 2x Argent Commander over Baron Geddon and Rag because budget. I like the Commanders, they're a solid bursty wincon and they also kill off Drakes and Auctioneers sometimes. Tried one Abomination over one, didn't like it that much. But I might fiddle with things.
Current decks are now Zoo, Kolento Hunter, Control Hunter, Tempo Warrior... either saving for a legendary or going for that Mage deck next,If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

Battling through 6 legendaries from a control Warrior with a random-Mage-bullshit deck just feels good. New record! I hate legendary goodstuff decks with a passion...
Turns out Black Knight dies to random-minion-damage, Ysera and Baron Geddon die to Polymorph+ping, Cairne against an Archmage Antonidas with Fireball in hand ends badly for Cairne, Grommash just gets frozen forever, and Ragnaros isn't very helpful when I'm at ~20+ and I have lethal burn spells in hand.If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

Heh, I beat a deck with at least 4 legendaries with some kind of garbage pile of paladin cards. Good times.-

Paid $2 for an Arena earlier, and keep getting 7-9 wins and running them back.

I legitimately do not understand how Druids are ever supposed to win.
I can't remember the last time I lost to one
And I just threw together a junk custom deck to start leveling / getting basic cards (since I've hit level 10 on all the other classes but Druid/Warlock), and I don't get it. There's so much inherent card disadvantage among Druid cards. It feels awful.
