Hey Thesp, I know this is going to sound cryptic, but did anything happen to you last night?

I'm waiting for Blake Judge before I answer anything.
Mod: Prod request on Blake Judge. Thanks!"When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning." -Reiner Knizia

This refers to the point I brought up earlier, which we've already gone over.Fuldu wrote:I'm not sure how to argue with not liking my "position on the Sailor Jerry wagon,"
Well you didn't post, so that wasn't really evident.Fuldu wrote:but I was trying to give HurriKaty the opportunity to claim, which is usually valuable, even if scum are stalling.-

Yes, I know what it refers to and I've accepted that you believe it, but given that I still find the argument bizarre, I have a hard time responding to it.VitaminR wrote:

I suppose, but if I'd posted to say "Yeah, I think HurriKaty is a reasonable play, but I'd still like to wait until she claims," then you'd just be making a slightly different argument against me.VitaminR wrote:

Back. (Er, Skruffs and Dotscum are both dead, but for nitpicking's sake I'll point out that I was the last genderclaimer.)
The Fulduvotes aren't in awful taste, I guess. But I'd much rathervote: JDodge: look at his interactions with Blake, even through the filter. Individual posts to note are 137 (repeating himself solely to agree with Katy, now with an "I suppose" at the end that reeks ofdisappointment) and then 220 (not only contradicting his 133 stance in an effort to keep his vote on but doing so in a patently ridiculous way--Chicken Boo the watcherscum with Wakko?), but the whole thing's ugly.-

Calling it bizarre is rather unfair. I found it strange that the SJ wagon led to a lynch that quickly. I expect pro-town players to be somewhat cautious about putting on the 5th, 6th and hammer votes. I understood Fritz and Thesp's vote. That leaves you.Fuldu wrote:Yes, I know what it refers to and I've accepted that you believe it, but given that I still find the argument bizarre, I have a hard time responding to it.
True, both don't change the fact that you stayed away from the Katy wagon completely when it was developing.VitaminR wrote:I suppose, but if I'd posted to say "Yeah, I think HurriKaty is a reasonable play, but I'd still like to wait until she claims," then you'd just be making a slightly different argument against me.-

Fair enough. I have been absolutely dreadful in my quality of play this game.Ether wrote:The Fulduvotes aren't in awful taste, I guess. You may want to note that I use "I suppose" as a way of expressing agreement way more often that as a way of expressing disappointment.
Now, I ask you this: What exactly is so suspicious? I'm not so sure I understand your viewpoint on the matter.-

I am amazed at your ability to divine the theoretical actions of another player. I think this is a poor, poor argument. As I read down further from your post, I admit my distaste for your form is significantly mitigated by VitaminR's assent to your presumption.Fuldu wrote:I suppose, but if I'd posted to say "Yeah, I think HurriKaty is a reasonable play, but I'd still like to wait until she claims," then you'd just be making a slightly different argument against me."When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning." -Reiner Knizia

Mod Note: I am now searching for a replacement for Blake Judge.
As a peremptory note,ifBlake Judge has a night action, heat the very leastpicked up a prod during the night, so it would have been possible for him to send in such an action.
This is not an indicator of his alignment either way, or a confirmation/denial of the presence/absence of him choosing to make a night action."Logic? I call that flapdoodle."-

I just got back from my trip less than an hour ago. I'm not completely done reading the game, but here are my/Blake Judge's night choices.VitaminR wrote:Could we just get your night results, if not your opinions?
Night 1: Blake Judge watched Foolster41, no result
Night 2: BJ watched no one, no result, I guess he wasn't active.-

Thanks, now a ranger.
I RECEIVED NO UNEXPECTED PMS OR NOTIFICATIONS LAST NIGHT. EXPLAIN THIS IF YOU THINK IT WORTHWHILE. IGNORE IT IF YOU THINK IT NOT.Foolster41 wrote:Hey Thesp, I know this is going to sound cryptic, but did anything happen to you last night?
Sorry for the caps again.
I'd like to hear a Fuldu claim. I'm pondering how worthwhile it would be for a mass claim at this point. I'm also curious to hear if anyone else is supcious of me."When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning." -Reiner Knizia

Grumble. I don't like that the only argument posited against me is VitaminR's. The HurriKaty piece is fair, but I still think the Sailor Jerry piece is stupid. If Thesp or (perhaps especially, since he explicitly indicated agreement) Foolster wants to explain how my position on that lynch is the most suspicious, I'd like to hear it.
But, since it looks like there's enough support for a wagon on me to push a claim, I'll save us all the trouble. I'm Ralph, the security guard. I have an investigative power similar to Fritzler's, except that I can identify whether a player is human or non-human (the mod has clarified for me that any characters that are not explicitly human (and, in particular, the Warners are not explicitly human) will return a non-human result). My Night One investigation was on Fritzler. I wasn't in favor of that wagon yesterday because I knew he was human. From last night I have an investigation result on a living player who hasn't claimed. I can give that info if it's called for.It takes a village to raise a lynch mob.-

Should we all do the whole, "Claim human or non-human" bit? I'm in favor of it. If so, I'd recommend Fuldu choose who starts."When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning." -Reiner Knizia

I finished my re-read. I googled and found out that wakko, dot, and yakko are male, female, and male siblings, so I'm assuming those three are scum? as wakko and dot have turned up mafia. and yakko is a he. But someone could have been possibly lying about their gender? Hmm. I will go look at the points VitaminR is making about Fuldu's behavior during the two wagons in which a scum was lynched now that I actually know what has happened in this game. =D
