I got team red which entirely matters since I have crafted exactly one badge ever and that was only to get myself high enough level to get cards from voting in the winter sale woo

Go on the Store Page, scroll down to Summer Adventure, and click that.
This will show you the rankings and how Purple is rigged. You want to scroll down to Step 3 and click the box. You will automatically be put into a team. Cross your fingers for Purple!
As the page says:
"Everyone is randomly assigned to a team when they click the "Join a Team" button above or when they craft a badge. Your points count toward your team’s daily total.
Each day the team with the most points wins. 30 members of that team who contributed points that day will win 3 games off their Wishlist. Make sure to update your Wishlist.Anyone who contributed points to that win will get 2 bonus Summer Sale trading cards. Everyone else who contributed points that day will get 1 bonus card.
The points are totaled and a new day begins at 10am PDT."

Spore was good, it was just overhyped and overpriced. As a 10 dollar game, I think it's solid.

Spore was good in the BEGINNING, but it got really repetitive and boring. For me, designing the creatures and the first 2 stages of evolution were the funnest for me.

I agree with this. For a $10 game it delvers better than shitty "indie" titles if we are being honest with ourselves.

And yeah I think I'd like the creation and the first stage of Spore but that's about it. Still I've decided I'm going to try to stick to my "5 or under" policy for daily deals and such for now.
Speaking of creation, RPG Maker being on sale when I got it and a bunch of DLC for $6 in a humble bundle <3 still if you have any interest in creating games, or even just maps and stories, it's super fun, versatile, and easy to use. and 17.49 is definitely a good deal, it's $70 usually.
