It's not that dumb. I think you should be able to appreciate why it is a very rational wagon.

If townNacho legit made up a syntax that just happened to match the mafia one, then I'm sorry, but it's pretty damning.
You think I should appreciate why it's a rational wagon because I veto'ed like the mafia veto.
How did would I know the proper syntax for the mafia veto?

If you want to completely fuck over town and destroy my perception of you as a mafia player, go right ahead.

No by seeing it in the mafia thread. My suspicion is one or you did it and that person read the rules. The rest of you just assumed the syntax was the same for town and you slipped.

Or... I skimmed the first page when looking up how to veto and grabbed it from mafia veto.
Why is this unreasonable?

Why is that possibility so much stronger than the other one where it warrants this incredibly, incredibly opportunistic flashwagon a day before deadline?

Imagine 3 lurkers in one room.
Mafia can nominate a mafia lurker in the room if they feel they won't get lynched, or they can nominate a town lurker. If they are smart, the majority of the people nominated will be town, meaning it's incredibly bad to lynch someone from a mafia choice nominated room, and from the number of lurkers we have in this game, that means the pool of people we should actually lynch will be very, very small: this sucks when we're not even guaranteed scum in our rooms.

You would know mafia syntax because the mafia had just vetoed Day of the Dead in the mafia QT. We know they did because it was vetoed.

That was after you had already used the scum syntax; you can explain this away as her seeing your veto syntax and assuming it was appropriate.

Please.
The situation Papa Zito came up with is a possible situation, yes. Is it more likely than me skimming the rules? Not by much, if at all. This means that driving a wagon on me to lynch because of said scumslip without me having the chance to form reads, without me getting the chance to get properly invested in the game: this shoots town in the foot especially since once I flip town, this town is going to go back on the fucked up road of apathy and lazily lynching people they can't read once again. This completely takes away the potential for anything that I could possibly do for town: which, considering that I A) haven't slipped inside information only scum would know (this is a real scumslip, by the way), and B) haven't involved myself in a situation that would be far more likely coming from scum-me than town me, means that you're sucking away the majority of anything good I could possibly accomplish in this game because of an incredibly dumb argument.
You're better than this. Other people on this wagon might not be, but you're better than this.

If you do ctrl + f veto, you'll find the town one first.

Also, you would have mentioned this earlier -- for example, prior to MuffinMan saying that he would think you plausibly town for giving exactly that explanation.

I'm not addressing it because you're scum. I'll admit, you're handling this better than I would. My solution when I slipped was just not to post in the thread for 24 hours until I either died or something else happened.
The content you're "producing" at L-1 with 20 hours left consists of "TIP is town because meta." and threatening that town is going to regret lynching you.
I somehow don't think we will.

P-Edit: Oh god, posting before work! So am I confirmed town, too?
