That wasn't the scum claim. In post 2187, Cheery Dog wrote:Why are we wanting to Veto something that scum has gone for the veto with? (even if they haven't voted in the proper format), since everyone managed to get replaced, I'm not seeing the issue with this event.
The ones we're want to use it on would be Latency or 3 Person Shootout.
And this seems directly contradictory to what I just quoted. Good job!
TIP is scum but we're going to let him live another day.In post 2225, PeregrineV wrote:19 pages behind. I'll go through them, but anyone want to offer up a summary?
Scum vetoed Dia de los Muertos.
We rolled "Nomination" for tomorrow which has quicktopic and Gladiator-esque shenanigans for the mechanic.
Some people thought because of activity concerns that vetoing Nomination would be wise.
Nacho is scum because he used the scum formatting for his veto.
TL;DR - Vote Nacho. Read up while his corpse swings from the gallows and we can kill TIP tomorrow.
To those arguing something to save Nacho - the town veto is the first one listed. The only reason he would know the scum veto formatting isbecause he had recently used the scum veto-ing format.Full stop. End debate. Occam's Razor is not your friend here, and anything you say to go otherwise just reads as a scumclaim.Ski mask? Check! Sawed off? Check! Guilty conscience, fear of death? Check! Check! Check!
Get to know me. Or don't. I won't tell you what to do. I'm not God. Or your father. Or your boss.-

Well, the word VETO is in bold in the Mafia section, so it might draw the eye more. But yeah, it's pretty tortured reasoning.-

We'll see how he answers. In post 1889, Iecerint wrote:
PV this is scummy. These questions are not going to tell you you whether Aronis is scum.In post 1730, PeregrineV wrote:

If you were sick of him, was it because you read him and were sick of him?

He doesn't really have a choice with regard to how he answers them.
"I routinely use my role poorly; thanks for asking!"
"Nope, I didn't read the game!"
"You're right; I lurk everywhere!"
The questions do not allow him to answer in the above way, so they are just designed to put him into a defensive position.
Anyway, I think he ignored them.-

I don't think his play was indicative of him being scum but the veto vote is really a compelling point. In post 2232, Magua wrote:

Well, so why did you ask what L- he's at? Do you think he should be voted or not?-

If you were really curious, you could've looked at the vote count on the previous page and figured it out. Would've been faster than asking.
But: Do you think he should be voted or not?-

Too lazy. Counting really takes a toll on some people.
I think he should be voted, yes. But let him speak first.-

This has been warped into a scumtell in recent times even though it goes against the face of what actual scum play means. Actual scum play means that you're playing for survival purposes, while NOT VOTING YOUR COUNTERWAGON flies in the face of that. Not voting your counterwagon (because your counterwagon is pushing you too hard!!) means that you're not lending support to alternatives and instead means that you're making it more likely that you're going to get lynched. Scum has absolutely 0 motivation to do this except to pull off a sneaky sneaky "pretending to be town move" which I think most people here (minus talah) can agree isn't a TiP-scum move at all.In post 2093, Oversoul wrote:The fact that TIP isn't voting anyone..."Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten

It's not that dumb. I think you should be able to appreciate why it is a very rational wagon. In post 2245, Nachomamma8 wrote:This is the dumbest fucking wagon I've ever seen in my entire life.
If townNacho legit made up a syntax that just happened to match the mafia one, then I'm sorry, but it's pretty damning.-

This is 100% a lie: BRO's not an absolute shithead and would claim PGO in his first post if he was one. It doesn't make sense for Metal Sonic to gambit in order to prevent getting killed in this game because he's not a likely kill this game and wouldn't think he was going to get killed. Scum.In post 2094, Metal Sonic wrote:Btw I am a pgo do not visit me at night"Playing with Nacho is like playing with a religious conservative." ~UncertainKitten
