I was going to ask if your mouse was accidentally set up for left-handed use (i.e. left-click is being treated as right-click and vice versa). If you're using the built-in touch pad, then that doesn't apply.

Touch pad is still functional, but the left click is read as right-clicking outside of Firefox, the right button is non-funtional, and i have to drag and click to highlight things now.
