so I spilled scotch on my ancient G15 keyboard (got it in 2006 anyway). My keys mostly work except for the keypad, but I use the keypad pretty extensively and some of the keys have become harder to press in recent years, so I'm thinking about getting a mechanical keyboard. While I game a fair amount, I want to make sure it's still comfortable to type. Anyone have experience with these? I was thinking of one of the Cherry Browns like the Logitech G710 as I think having a tactical sensation would be nice but without the sound as that might drive my wife nuts)..-

If you're looking for something episodic you can play at work, I'd go with something along the lines of SpaceChem. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.-

Yeah, but it keeps you busy, and has no time limits. You can play for a while, and then stop whenever. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. i tried twice already but it's too much effort when also contending with schoolwork, my brain can't think that much all the time
will probably get to it this summer though maybeShowEver wanted a playlist full of a lot of music I really dig? Here you go.

so i ended up getting a Logitech G710+. I haven't really used it for gaming yet, but I LOVE typing on it. It'll take some getting used to before I really enjoy its full potential (I'm still mashing buttons down more than I need to), but it's so... satisfying.
I just wish there was something good between the $80 tenkeyless versions and the $120 with keypad. I feel weird paying 40 bucks for a keypad, but there we go..-

the very first thing I ctrl+c'ed for wasn't on the list sorry that list fails
the problem is it's really hard to cover every video game ever because it's ambiguous as to what "counts"
if I made a lame flash game on the interwebs would that count? probably not
if I made the same game but made players pay for it would it count? maybe
if I made the same game and got a publisher for it would it count? probably
there's the stuff that obviously "counts" but there's nothing that obviously "doesn't count" so there's basically no way to actually make that list
what I'm trying to say essentially though is that 43806 is not big enough of a number for a list like that, realisticallyShowEver wanted a playlist full of a lot of music I really dig? Here you go.

For some reason, I want to get a fighting game. Problem is I know jack shit about fighting games. Also I only have PC. Injustice and Mortal Kombat look good, but I heard Street Fighter's better. I'm mainly concerned with n00b-friendliness and prefer solid SP/online play over local MP. Anybody have wisdom/advice/horror stories to share?I'll explain it to you. You have to get someone else to understand it for you.-

Super Smash Bros Melee is a great fighting game for people who normally don't like fighting games, great competitive community too, noob friendly. No online play though.
Street Fighter IV has pretty good online play and it's combos aren't too complicated so it's one of the more noob friendly fighting games I've played.
Haven't played too much else extensively.-

I've played Lords of Shadow and Darksiders. LoS is probably more mindless, it's got long and easy platforming sequences where you can just chill and enjoy the landscape view. It's easy to beat the game, but pretty tough to get 110%.In post 793, bv310 wrote:Anyone have any suggestions for a good Hack and Slash on PC?
