There can be 2 scum in the group of four I listed. That doesn't mechanically break the game unless there are only 2 scum.

Not gonna read another game unless I have a reason. Also, defining a player by 1 game is bad.

I didn't call Jordan a lurker.

I paraphrased your posting. Not providing a quote doesn't mean I didn't do other things :P
How can that work? Practically? It's not possible. Rework your theory assuming only one group scum. There's a very realistic possiblity that the mod would have to rearrange the shifts if the scum teams turned out wacky. That possibility is not mentioned in the setup.

The setup would be worded that each team would resign with one scum left. However, that is not mentioned. It says "the mafia". Third party is theoretically still possible but two group!scum teams are not.

I did reread and that statement about Jordan lurking was a hypothetical. ika hasn't been lurking either but I understand that my statement was poorly crafted.

I misunderstood your post in the same way I believe LD has managed to. (double-scum group meaning you thought multiball instead of you saying there ae two scum in it)

well now i feel dumb.

i'm voting Aronis because his rolleyes at Reck was shitty, and his vote on Logical Duality is easy target as hell after the way everyone bitched about anonymous hydras in the signup thread. and also now because he is apparently not even going to try to engage with anyone in either shift.

Good God. It is incredibly difficult to separate meta from play in this game. I still like my vote, but...Titus, a question:

You stated that you wanted to remain anonymous because you were concerned about an overabundance of scummy PMs giving people a biased read on you. Please pardon the paraphrasing, By PMs, do you mean that you're frequently roled as scum lately, and are concerned that people would think you more likely to be scum because of that?

Precisely. I know the random number generator doesn't care about alignment. However, my scumgame is pretty good and I have had people tell me that they will be suspicious of me. I wanted to be judged based on my actions, not fear and paranoia.

In her defense as well I'm the one who pushed that hardest for an anon Hydra, but for me it's due to very personal reasons that have little to do with gameplay.

I don't have a very good feeling about the next shift, there's something about the idea of letting the next shift decide who goes that makes me uneasy.

Question to Bro: how do you feel about the early soft claims?

I am voting the 'anonymous hydra' on policy, nothing more at this point. Engaging people in other shifts is difficult? To say the least and I'd prefer to wait until a more crucial stage to do so. Perhaps the next shift. Which leaves the people in this shift who have been rather inactive and we are running out of time, but I will attempt it in the least.

Thanks for confirming your alignment along with BnB. We know you are scum Zoraster. You can persist in this foolishness and reveal how we know you are scum, or you can bus BnB. Their is a slim chance BnB is town, but you are not.

The path of least resistance is best. I doubt we will prove you are scum based off your hyper-defensive overreaction, but you would be a fool to lynch us.

We know.

Why did you have to break our heart? We came here to the hospital get treated for our love addiction and we fell in love with scum...

Broseidon, your lynch train will be impossible not because town won't vote us but scum likely won't. If we die, it's a one for one trade with Zoraster scum and the rest get outed through associations VERY early. So yeah, go ahead and vote us. Just conferring with my other head before we place a last will.

Oh, that, I totes forgot about that.

Given the role that I got, that could be true. Or it could be AP seeing that I got a role that's perfect for me and trolling.

Not gonna read much into it.

As you shouldn't. The softclaim from AP+mastin could damn near be anything, but is merely meant to doubtcast us. I doubt Aronis is the only one who checked my email account slip.

Suppose for a moment that Zoraster is scum and we are town BRO, what are your analytical results? P.S. They should wind up with either Jordan or BnB as scum given Zorasters hyper reaction. Looking at cross-shift tells is also a majorly important thing to do.

Why, Aronis, you're after a man's heart are you not? You are such a bad boy, policy voting for things done before roles are assigned. Yet, I see you've reformed.

Others might not. We suspect that scum will push us as an obvious counterwagon to scum, given the known conftown (Bro) is on our wagon.

To make it easier if you do decide to be total derps...

Under no condition is Zoraster to live beyond the end of shift two. Use the entire 8 shifts to scumhunt but Zoraster is the lynch if I am dead.

Reads:

Scummy

Zoraster - Confscum...
BnB- Almost Certainly Scum
Jordan - Almost Certainly Scum
Reck - Probable Scum

Aronis - Probable Town
ika - Town
Broseidon - Conftown
Logical Duality - The towniest town that ever towned

========

Yo! Scum, you got three options

1) Avoid Zoraster/Me, give associative tells and don't NK me. This just pushes your problem down the road.
2) Lynch me, confirm Zoraster. Cutting this short makes the associatives obvious to everyone else that we already see.
3) Bus Zoraster with weakass reasons and hope you don't get caught.

There is no 4.

Peace out for this shift. Town in great position.

No ika, We won't be voting for you today. Deal with it.

Nice stab at the low hanging fruit, chief.

I'm a confirmable town role so I don't really give a fuck if you want to waste your time coming after me.

Logical Duality is pretty bad for calling me "probable scum" with no reasoning whatsoever... and I'm fairly confident whatever reason they toss my way now will be just as bad so yeah.
