Rules

1. "Nights" will last as long as I need them to. The deadline will be posted. If you need an extension, just tell me, I might need one someday myself.

2. "Days" will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose a deadline. If discussion picks up, the deadline will be rescinded. Aren't I the nice one??? (the correct answer is... NO)

3. Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. If you are not counted, you do not exist.

4. Unvotes must proceed new votes. If you do not unvote before voting, you are still voting for the previous person. If you are still voting for the previous person, they may become dead.

5. Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life. At deadline, the first player to have reached at least half majority (assuming there is a tie) will constitute a lynch. Otherwise, there will be no lynch.

6. No lynches are allowed, they require the same votes as a lynch.

7. The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so. You button your lip, or I button it for you.

8. Once your death scene has been posted, unless you're not dead, you’re dead. You will be told if you're not dead. Once your dead please DO NOT POST until the game is over. I will allow one "BAH!" post, as long as it contains no pertinent information.

9. Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. No matter what stupid thing you've done. Why can't you just THINK? I mean, come on!

10. Don’t quote any PMs or e-mails from me, lest I kill you.

11. If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. If you miss a deadline, a random choice will be made. This usually involves you being very unhappy.

12. If you're going to be gone any amount of time, let everyone know.

13. The mod is god. Any mistakes such as inaccurate vote counts are obviously YOUR mistake. Please point out your mistakes so I can correct them. And if I ask you to eat play-doh, you say "WHAT COLOR, MOD!?". Sacrifices of small woodland animals accepted.

Mr. Boddy opens his luggage.

Mr. Boddy: "Who can guess what's in here, eh?"

Mrs. White: "The evidence against us, no doubt."

Mr. Boddy chuckles. He starts handing out boxes, each with a different size and shape.

Miss Scarlet: "We didn't know we were meeting you tonight. Did you know you were meeting us?"

Mr. Boddy: "Oh, yes."

Mrs. White: "What were you told, precisely?"

Mr. Boddy: "Merely that you were all meeting to discuss our little...financial arrangements. And if I did not appear, Wadsworth would be informing the police about it all. Naturally I could hardly resist putting in an appearance."

He finishes handing out the packages.

Mr. Boddy: (elbowing his way to the door) "'Scuse me." (eyeing the packages) "Open 'em."

Miss Scarlet: "Why not? I enjoy getting presents from strange men."

Miss Scarlet opens her package. A candlestick.

Miss Scarlet: "A candlestick? What's this for?"

Mrs. White opens her box and reveals a rope-tied in a noose. Mr. Green takes his box in one hand. He opens it and lets the contents fall into his other hand. A bent lead pipe. Colonel Mustard opens his box and pulls out...a heavy wrench. Professor Plum takes the lid off his package and looks in. He gingerly pulls out a revolver. Finally, the camera reveals Mrs. Peacock, who is twirling a dagger.

Mr. Boddy: "In your hands, you each have a lethal weapon. If you denounce me to the police, you will also be exposed and humiliated. I'll see to that in court. (pauses) But...if one of you kills Wadsworth now..."

Wadsworth's eyes widen in shock.

Mr. Boddy: "...no one but the seven of us will ever know. He has the key to the front door, which he said would only be opened over his dead body. I suggest we take him up on that offer."

Mr. Boddy goes over to the light switch with deliberate ease. He closes the door to the hall and sets his drink down.

Mr. Boddy: "The only way to avoid finding yourselves on the front pages is for one of you to kill Wadsworth. Now."

He turns off the lights.

We hear noises. Someone inhales raspily. A gunshot. Something ceramic shatters. A scream. The lights go up. Mrs. Peacock, who turned on the light, drops the dagger in shock.

The camera reveals Mr. Boddy lying prone on the floor.

Colonel Mustard: "It's not Wadsworth!"

Professor Plum: "Stand back! Give him air!" (kneels next to Mr. Boddy) "Let me see." (checks Mr. Boddy for signs of life) "He's dead!"

With Mr. Boddy dead, you could be next! Can you find the ones responsible before it's too late?

The Cop: (more confused) "Sure..."

The Cop sees Yvette.

The Cop: "Don't I know you from someplace?"

Yvette shrugs.

The Cop: "You all seem to be very anxious about something."

Wadsworth: "It's the chandelier. It fell down. Almost killed us. Would you like to come this way, please, sir?"

Miss Scarlet closes the door to the study suddenly and attempts to look nonchalant. The Cop whirls at the sound. Professor Plum does the same to the lounge door. The Cop whirls again.

Wadsworth: "Frightfully drafty, these old houses."

Wadsworth leads the Cop in and indicates the phone.

Wadsworth: "Please help yourself to a drink, if you'd like."

The Cop reaches for the cognac.

Wadsworth: "Not the cognac. Just in case."

The butler exits and closes the door.

The Cop: "Just in case of what?"

Wadsworth locks the door and turns to the assembled guests.

You all get really bored, and you decide that you're tired of homosexuals being in this mansion. You all turn to chaotic_diablo and start beating him to death with the various implements you were given by Mr Boddy. After he's dead, you inspect his body and find out that he had nothing to do with the murders. He was just a normal, gay man. Shrugging, you haul him off to the freezer. As you move off to explore the mansion some more, the lights go off again.

Inspecting the bodies assures you that neither of them were anything but victims of the blackmail.

You wake up the next day (well, some of you do, at least) to find 2 bodies around the mansion. The first is poor Wadsworth, stabbed in the back while he was upstairs exploring. The second is Mrs. Peacock, hung from the second floor railing, bloody knife on the floor where it had fallen from her limp hand. A quick search reveals that neither of them were people you were looking for, at least not anymore.

Notes:

The inventor was designed to out the SK, MBL. When MBL refused to eat the soup, he gained a lynch immunity for it, because that would've exposed him as scum. Anyone eating the soup would expose hints to MBL's role. If you look at the scene where DoS ate the soup, it made a reference to MBL, which showed his role to be Mrs. Peacock. The soup and main course would have given hints as to someone's rolename, based on the flavor of the scene I wrote when they decided to eat it. The dessert did nothing.

Battle Mage converted MBL to a vig by protecting him twice, Nights 2 and 3.
