If anybody had asked, it wouldn't have been scummy. Explaining things for no reason seems scummy, especially if nobody is hinting at anything, because it seems like you're seeing things that are scummy, and thinking everyone else is seeing them. Town is not usually going to see as such, especially newbie town, because they're not concerned with looking innocent.

Defense of John. This is stupid, and plain wrong. He wasn't attacking someone for posting differently. The last newbie I saw that spammed the thread with every other post was scum. He was essentially actively lurking.
