You don't have to unban it. You can just play freeform!
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Have the format star at masques block (actually this would be sweet if they did), do roughly the same thing

Brainstorm is busted as fuck, they won't let it plus ten fetches exist in a ptq format

Legacy is much better than modern

Then it would just be Legacy without the weirder combo and aggro decks. Modern's pretty good as it is, though I wish they'd quit fucking tinkering with it and lighten up on the banlist. I want to play ThopterSword, damn it.

Hell, they made Modern based on having Modern card frames; I say we have Classic, where you can only play cards with the classic card frames.

I think that was clearly a typo. I was trying to say I like legacy better than modern better than cube better than vintage better than limited (though not this current limited) better than standard better than block.

I was joking when I said this, but I actually like it upon reflection. Cut off the power creep. Only problem is that it'd be a stagnant format.

I find limited the most interesting format.
You have a limited card pool and have to decide what cards you are going to use in your deck.
The other formats have way bigger pools where most of the cards are useless.

I liked most limited formats from Zendikar on.
Some of them have busted cards, but if you find someone who didn't get that card they were pretty fun.
Rise of the Eldrazi was my favourite by far.

speaking of fun limited formats, trip-BNG is entertaining. played one with American Weenie/Loyal Pegasus.dec and that won me two packs. this one went p1p1 Searing Blood, p2 ??, p3 Tromokratis (?!), p4 Tromokratis (...).

opened a Kiora p2 so I'm UR Tromokratis feat. Kiora. I guess. and sitting here for 30m or so because someone dropped in a Swiss.

Triple-Innistrad is my favourite draft format I've played ever. Rise is close, but Innistrad just has more fun strategies. I even built a Draft Cube for Innistrad to keep the fun going.

m14 is the best format they've had in a long time (m13 was fine, but not particularly interesting)

It was nice to have a format where the spells were finally better than the creatures again.

It was interesting. I was just awful at it.

I'm really enjoying BNG-Theros-Theros though. I feel like whatever I do goes well, even if it's "stall until I get either Chromanticore or Tromokratis out"

I almost literally never lost at it. I racked up like 200 rating points on m14 8-4s

What did his final record for Day 1 look like?

Oh wow. I saw a few tweets about end records for Day 1 from some people so I thought it ended.

Looks like 4-5. Coincidentally it looks like in his seventh round match when I checked earlier he was playing right next to a Columbus area player who I played in my recent GPT.

MTGO's glitched out on me during drafting and made me get M1 match losses two 8-4s in a row. Both times I pulled a Master of Waves pack3-p1.

Coincidence? Probably.
