It's probably because he's a terrible mafia player. Presumably he's got a chip on his shoulder about being lynched as a power role before. His solution is to claim on day one.

It's either that or some sort of gambit.

I'm about 80% sure it's the former which is a shame because it would do my evil heart good to see him lynched.

Sage's vote seems rather opportunistic now that I look more closely at it. He "doesn't want to lynch Squirrels", so why vote over an FOS? He's not inactive, so it's not as if a vote is going to bring him around.

I'm not switching votes based on this, as there are two scum groups.

If I understood it correctly, Sage tried to initiate something similar to the random votes on a day 1. However, I do not really like omg's way of reasoning at all. He bandwagon-voted Squirrels in the first place, and then labelled his vote as not that serious in the last post. However, considering that he claims to have a much clearer picture than Sage about the scumminess/townieness of people ("lol nocmen and sage are both scum.", "unfortunately squirrels is about the most likely townie in the game"), I am smelling that you are trying to confuse town.

theyre an idiot. becuase what you're doing just seems like a way to get yourself out of accusations.
There might be scenarios where you're right about the person being dumb, but i feel you should at least help them understand the concept, thus making them a better player, and maybe help the town out a little bit. i dont like that you criticize others play and then leave them in the dark as to why you didnt like their play.

OMG's playstyle is not bothering me. Lack of anything concrete and his pointless posts, however, are another issue. I don't see him as really trying to help, as he's being condescending in his words of wisdom.

However, lack of assistance from anyone else kind of makes me believe he's a horrible townie rather than scum.

I see a point with Sage, however, I do not think he is scum.
Sqirrels on the other hand is questionable.

There is a complete lack of evidence in omgs post about sage being mafia. Even if Im blind and there are piles of evidence, a townie would atleast explain why he thought someone was scum, just to emphasize it more. omgs post seems like a revenge accusation, with little information.
