I have phrased it wrong: Act 2 will be added before the end of the year - it is part of the game which will be released later.
As for the amount of money spent, my guess is that a lot of it went for artists and voice actors (they have some known names as voice actors) - it is a well finished product.
So I've been playing Illusion of Gaia lately. Great game so far. Highly recommend!
The only problem I've had with it so far is that it's by far better on a control pad than keyboard. The controls are more or less designed around the functionality of a handheld controller, and it ends up being hella clunky on keyboard.

Definitely interested. Been collecting a bunch of old ROMs to play through myself (your last post reminds me somehow, I still need to finish Terranigma) so it'd be cool to see some other opinions.
So we have a Wii U now. Got the Mario bundle for it, and also Mario 3D world.
I actually like the game pad. It's neat to be able to play games on it when your other half is watching TV or playing on the PS4 or whatever.
I just need some suggestions for games aside from the Mario games we already have and the virtual console games I am eventually going to fill the system with...
Pikmin 3 is fun but it's not worth 60 dollars for the time given.
Wind Waker HD is also good but it's not worth 60 dollars if you've played the GC Game. It's an upgrade but it's not significant enough to warrant a 60 dollar pricetag.

I think Wind Waker has actually dropped a little in price. (Or is simply on sale.) I haven't played it on GameCube, but the little bit I've played and what I've watched on you tube doesn't interest me at all.
It could be like Dragon Warrior 7 where it takes a little bit of time for the game to get interesting, but going through the intro of Wind Waker on the demo was just painful for me.
VLR is more mind-screwy than 999 or at least feels that way to me
but that's not necessarily a good thing
still a damn fun game though, my schoolwork suffered for a week when I first got it :V

I have it, it's pretty fun. If you have a controller for PC, get it on PC, otherwise go for XBOX.
Flying controls are shit, but the rest of the game's solid.
I'll explain it to you. You have to get someone else to understand it for you.
My friend has it. It's actually a pretty good game. I never expected much from a lego series but it might surprise you. Not GOTY material but it's definitely good.

I have the wireless xbox controller reciever for windows so all my games are "xbox games" even if they're for PC
Umbrage, I never thought I'd say this to you, but thanks. You've convinced me to get it for the (cheaper) PC instead of xbox, if it'll run on this pos.
it's a good damn thing I can't connect my 3DS to WiFi at school then \o/
I missed out on the thing where they gave like 20 free games for the veteran 3DS owners because of that crap too seriously in this day and age shouldn't be dealing with this
Steam doesn't support a billing address thats a US Military APO/FPO address. I open a support ticket and they tell me to just put my homestate there instead, what happens? Shocker! The bank declined the billing information! You'd think Steam would be a big enough game distributor to realize HEY WE HAZ MILITARY CUSTOMERS WHO WANTS GAMES TOO!!!!!
